I lick Polaris on the muzzle gently an dhug her back."I missed you to even the short time we were seperated!".I say and lick her back gently."I wish mom was still alive though".I paw the tear in my eye and put it on the ground. I then gaze up at Shadow and sigh."I'm sorry miss for the way I acted just then".With a sigh I gte up and wlak into one of the empty dens.


Shadow
I sigh slightly."It's ok little Hunger ,someday you will grow up strong like you mother and have a family that will be healthy".I say before walking into a birthing den to have my pups. I lay down on the soft moss and lick my paws and then glance out side one more time then I walk further into the den and lay down. *fades*

Polaris
"Hopefully we'll be happy here...I think we will." I say looking at Hunger happily."It seems so safe. There are people to protect us, people who will love us and care for us. It's perfect here." I look over and see Hunger with a tear running down his cheek as he looks at our dead mother. I look this way aswell. "You know, We would have never survived if we stayed with her any longer than we did. We would be dead now. She would have bitten us all." I say in an almost blank tone while I stare at our mother blankly.

Hunger
I sigh slightly and get up. I look at the den where Shadow had gone into and see two new puppies , a female and a male."Aww there so cute!".I say and slowly walk into the den."Whats there names?".i ask."It's ok Shadow , if you don't want to tell me but it would be cool to know there names".I say sitting down.

Shadow
I reply."Well the make is Oken , and the female is Coral".I say and lick each of them gently."Why don't you go play with your sister Hunger , I'm a bit bisy now".I say looking at Hunger calmly."It's not that I hate you it's just I need a bit of time by myself with my newborns".

I walk over to the den and stand right outside the mouth of it."Come on Hunger." I say softly. "Shadow wants some alone time." I saw Hunger stand up and actually smile! He hadn't smiled once since the death of our mother a while ago. In fact he hadn't smiled since the first attack when we were all still together. Only tears and a frown covered his face. But now, now that he had seen that there is still hope for survival in even the tiniest of lives he seemed to feel relief and happiness. I smile and begin to walk away, Hunger trailing behind me looking back at the newborn pups. "Hunger pay attention to where your going. you dont want to trip do you?" I hear a thump and turn around. "Hunger..." I say with a sigh. Hunger had tripped over a small rock. "Hahaha! You klutz!" He stares at me angrily but begins to smile.

I roll my eyes and brush the dirt off my pelt."Well I guess there might be hope....".I say with a slight sigh."AH! ANOTHER RABID WOLF RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!".I tease and leap at her [playfully as she turns around."Haha got you good that time".I say laughing and playing."Haha!".I say tickling her playfully."Now who's the klutz?".I ask laughing.

"Hahahaha! Ahh!" I wiggle back and forth and try to push hunger of me. My face goes completely blank and I begin to shake and Hunger turns around to see...nothing! I pounce on him and we begin to wrestle in the mud and I had him pinned down. Then I see an over whelming shadow. We both slowly look up and see a strange figure. He leans his head down and says. (Shadow's Mate->)"Hi!" (Polaris and Hunger) "AHHHH!"

Hunger
I run as fast as I can and hide in the bushes beside my sister."W...who was he!".I whisper to her."You don't think he is rabbid do you?".I ask scarred."He didn't bite us did he? , well maybe he's not rabbid no foaming mouth or anything like that".I say looking at him going into Shadows den. I then watch as he dissapears into thin air."G....G.....GHOST!".I shreik.

"Ahhhh! What is going on!?" I glance over at Hunger huddled in the corner. "I'm gonna go check this out. Something just isn't adding up!" I begin to walk slowly over to the cave. I begin to ask, "Is everyone okay in there?" No response. "Hello?" No response. "Hmmm..."

"Sorry Polaris I was bisy grooming myself , don't worry I'm ok".I say calmly."But is everything up out there ok?".I ask.
