Orion was mesmerized by the words. "I wish i had such meaning." He told her, digging his paws into the dirt. "I was born for running the pack to ruling, no matter what i have to do. But so far, it makes no sense. I can't even rule my own pack." He bared his teeth. "And its all because of those elders!" He snarled quietly. He glanced at her "Do you regret that?" He asked her. "Taking the leadership?"

"Sometimes," SHe admitted, blue eyes gazing to the sky, "Sometimes I wish Tamaska could be the heir still, I know he wishes the same thing but he'd never tell me to my face. But the pack depends on me and respects me just as much as my mother. Because of me, we don't degrade wolves to a ranking of omega for we have no omegas. Every wolf has their place among the pack."

Orion looked at her, greedy for the pack life she lives in. "I wish we could have met some other way." He told her, looking through the woods on the other side. "I like the sound of your pack." He noted and yawned. "I can help you back home tomorrow if you wish of me." He told her, laying his head back down.

SHe blinked with a small smile, "I'd like that, thank you..." She bit her lip, realizing she did not know his name. "I'm sorry, I'm Paloma by the way." She said with an embarrassed giggle.

(This should so be a Romeo Juliet thing...minus the death...)

Orion smiled "I remember you from the stand off earlier. I'm Orion." He dipped his head to the heiress. "Its a pleasure to actually meet you instead of growling at each other." He chuckled only slightly before he added. "I won't be able to get to close, i'm sure your pack would remember me."

Paloma smiled at that then blinked with understanding, "I understand, I fear Rowan and papa would tear you apart." She said with the best joke she could think of.

Orion looked at her, shocked. He couldn't help but start laughing, he didn't know what was so funny. "I think i could handle myself." He said matter of factly, a small smirk playing at his maw.

She smirked, "Oh really? The biggest brute in my ypack and an over protective friend? I'd like to see you try."

"Hmmm, maybe i'd have to rethink my strategy, but i'd win." He grinned and closed his eyes, feeling as if he should be tired but the fae was easy to talk to, strange to think that she is supposed to be an enemy.

Paloma softly stretched out her wings, feathers ruffling softly as the moonlight glimmered off of them. "I swear I'm going to be confided to my den for a moon." She grumbled.
