"Life has been good to me, and the Sky Prism Tribe as well," Obsidian said, smiling proudly as she gazed around, recognizing every one of her bats.

Moonbeam smiled "That's good."she said swiveling her ears again.

[Moony-Mae]

Luna was talking to the bat with the leathery wings. "I wonder where the next Festival will be held. Cosmo said it would held in the Fern Clan, but, she's always spreading rumors."

Nocturno beamed at everyone having fun, then said goodbye to his friends and, grinning broadly, zoomed off to try and make new ones. Hopefully his second attempt would be more successful than the first.

Just then, an eerie chirping was heard. It was a blood-chilling noise that sent shivers up your spine. Heads turned, looking to see where the voice came from. Nocturno noticed it at once. A dozen or so bats were coming closer to the Festival. As they got closer, he recognized a tear in the head bat's ear. He had scarlet wings, and jet-black fur. With a jolt, Nocturno realized that he knew these bats.

The lead bat was his father.

These bats were from the Blood Tribe.

Moonbeam gasped when she saw the Blood Tribe, she held Sapphire closer to her.

[~Firebird Rising~]

"Blood Tribe," Obsidian hissed, glaring up at the approaching bats. "What do they want?"

Graphite turned, saw the approaching Blood Tribe, let out a squeak of fear, and tumbled from the air.

Moonbeam saw Graphite fall, she sighed and then turned her emerald gaze onto the Blood Tribe.

Luna's eyes were fixed on these strange bats until she heard Graphite's squeak. She flew underneath him and caught him.

Nocturno was gleeful and terrified to see his family again. He recognized his mother, sister, and grandfather. They were at the front of the Tribe, leading the bloodthirsty Tribe members closer and closer.

"Thank you," Graphite panted gratefully to Luna, finding his wings again. He hovered and watched with a cold feeling of dread as the Blood Tribe bats grew closer and closer.

Obsidian had had enough of this eerie silence. She flew forward. "Blood Tribe!" she called, her luminous green eyes dark and cold as she glared at them. "What business have you here?"
