Erik is aloof, almost arrogant, He says little and when he speaks he is usually cold. He does not care much about others, and he prefers to stay to himself when it is possible. He with smirks or scowls, and is rarely ever happy or smiling, or laughing in general, his emotions tend to be to the darker, sadder side. With a heart of stone he allows no one close to him, and he would like to keep it that way, but in the end it never works out, and that scares him. He doesn't want to be vulnerable or open again, because all that has brought him in the past in pain and sorrow. With his past, which he informs no one of, it makes it hard for him to trust anyone what so ever, so he can't help but be guarded even around the ones he cares about, no matter how much he may want to open up.
Underneath his cold, and sometimes snobbish exterior lays a worried, gentle soul. He likes making others close to him happy and he hates failure, which sometimes causes him not to try in the first place. Part of the coldness is a fear of rejection by others, which has hurt him in the past, but once someone excepts him, and shows him they won't betray him, he can be a fun, humourous guy, but one has to dig deep to bring that Erik out.
