Rose walks through her hometown of Liore, her old friend, Scalar, beside her. The young girl looks to her friend. "Still, the sun god Leto will forgive you and maybe give you a miraculous way of getting your arm and eye back." She says softly, trying to convince her that Leto did exist. How Rose ever became friends with Scalar, nobody ever knew. Rose was one of the most loved people, Scalar was the most hated.

Scalar sighs. She had an automail left arm, and wore an eyepatch over her blind right eye. She had lost them in an incident when she was with the military. The girl still was, but she rarely did any actual work. "And all I'm saying is that he doesn't exist or that grenade would have never gone off next to me." The manipulator says, her hands in her pockets of her military jacket. She has the left sleeve torn off, and the jacket was worn open with a white shirt and jeans.

Alphonse sits by his brother, watching him eat and drink. The armour boy wished he could still do that. He listens to other conversations, zoning out.

Edward sighed, slurping orange juice lazily. "What do you think of this place, Al?" He asked casually, tapping his fingers on the counter of the stand they were sitting beside. "Kinda quiet, right?" He said with a soft chuckle, staring off into the distance at the red wine fountain down in the town square.

Lust sat on the railing on the roof of a bulding, overlooking the city as the citizens busied about on their errands. The Homunculus played with a strand of her long, dark hair and let out a sigh. The Elric boys would show up sooner or later. She had made sure of that.

"Huh?" Al says, looking back at his brother. He just snapped out of his zone out session. "Yeah, it is really quiet here. What is there to do here besides listen to preaching on the radio?" Al says, making sure to keep his head under the bar roof.

Envy walks up to Lust. "Anything important for me to do? I'm tired." He whines, rubbing the back of his head with one hand, and resting the other on his hip.

"Yea...I think we should stay here the night and split in the morning." Edward said simply, stirring his juice with the straw and watching as the pulp swished around in the glass. "I'm bored already." Ed's short attention span was well-known. Sure, he could focus, but only when it involved alchemy.

"Stop complaining, Envy." Lust said in that soft, gentle tone she had. It worked well with persuasion. "Once the Elric brothers arrive, our plan can take wing." She leaned back and closed her eyes, letting the breeze lift her hair off her shoulders.

At Rose's wish, both Scalar and Rose visit the bar that the Elric brothers were in. She waves, holding the grocery bag with one arm. Rose looks at Scalar. "We're going to just pay a little visit, ok?" She says, smiling sweetly.

Scalar wasn't exactly one to smile unless one of her little schemes worked. "Whatever you say, Rose-les~" She chirps, snickering a little as she orders an orange juice, earring both her drink and a scowl from the bartender. Scalar rolls her eyes, and takes her drink. "C'mon, Rose, let's go. I don't like these guys..." She says. Rose stops her, asking her to give them a chance. "Fine..."

Rose smiles. "See? When you be nice and listen, the Sun God will reward you, Scal." She says to her friend, before greeting the bartender in a friendly manner.

Envy scowls, pouting. "Fine..." He says, sitting stubbornly and crossing his arms.
