I am an apprentice || no crush || my mentor is Greynose
currently ;; running with her friend feeling ;; mischievous⋮ Bouncing, light eyes, rushing through trees and rivers at the speed of sound, ears blown back in the wind as air streams in and out of her fur. Stormy grey orbs bursting around splotched ginger fur, a long, thin tail, one built for balance and maneuverability. Everything that an apprentice would want, all at her paw tips. And boy, does Poppypaw ever use it. Her long legs and extremely flexible body makes up for her lack of fighting skills, pouring it into the art of running and hunting, racing and climbing. She may not be the best in battle training, but at least she can show off to her fellow Clanmates when she goes for a nice run. Sometimes, though, Poppypaw will do what she is doing now - running free, all alone, wind through her ears as she relishes off of the late green leaf weather. Soon, the cooling temperatures of leaf fall will be here. Don't get her wrong, she loves leaf fall, but it is something about the chirping of birds and greenness of the leaves that only the warm season can bring.
Of course, every path must come to an end. After only a short while, Poppypaw's jog through the forest winds up back at camp, just in time for sun high. Padding slowly into camp, Poppypaw lets her eyes wander about. There was not much going on, even if the day was warm and prey was buzzing about. Perhaps everybody was training, or even taking their own little sprints through the forest. Stormpaw! she calls, bouncing over to her best friend, a stormy colored grey tom, just about her age. They were den mates when they were younger, and even though they aren't related, they sure act like brother and sister. C'mon, I'm bored. I'll race you to the WindClan border! She exclaims, eyes lighting up as she bats her friend on the nose. "I'll beat you, Poppypaw, and you know it!" Stormpaw exclaims, laughing, as he pulls up closer to his friend. Narrowing her eyes, Poppypaw lets a sly smile slide across her face. And then, she's off, faster than lightning itself.

I am a warrior || no crush || I don't have an apprentice
currently ;; talking to Leafdapple feeling ;; giddyDon't even think of batting an eyelash. No, if you move the slightest bit, your prey will flee all the way back to its burrow before you even have chance to flick a claw. You need to wait, be patient, hold your breath as long as possible until that perfect moment when your prey has just turned its back... now! Lunging forward, Skyheart stretches out his claws, digging their razor sharp tips deep into the flesh of a giant rabbit. It attempts to hop away, but it is much to late, and automatically becomes subject to his mercy. But he has a Clan to feed, and this is one fat piece of prey. Jaws watering, Skyheart picks up the large rabbit, eyes wide. He has never caught anything this large! This could feed all of the kits for a week. Proud of himself for his grand catch, he lifts his head high and turns around, beginning to prance towards camp, when.. he wakes up. Humpf. He grumbles. Sometimes, good dreams can be torturous - they end all to soon, not allowing you to have the satisfaction of showing of your huge imaginary prey. Well, all good things come to an end, don't they? Oh, well. You always have to move on.
Blinking heavily, the tabby tom heaves himself out of his nest. The air around him has grown heavy with humidity, as it always does in the crowded warriors den. Looking outside and into the spilling sunlight, Skyheart realized that he had overslept. Nearly being sun high, Skyheart leaps up and bounds out of the den, attempting not to look panicked or overslept. As a matter of fact, he actually attempts to straighten up his pelt, which is usually something he only does before he falls asleep, unless he has had a rather reckless night. Glancing upward, Skyheart's dark amber eyes meet those of the tortoiseshell pelted she-cat Leafdapple. A sly smile appearing on his face, he dips his head the slightest bit, not hesitating to trot over to the graceful she-cat. Hi, Leafdapple. he greets, looking up. Would you like to come hunting with me?
