Ejira~
"In a sor─" she had begun her answers only to be interrupted by questions from a different person. Her gold eyes sparked with recognition when she saw Spec and she took it by herself to answer properly. "The man there," she explained, gesturing to John, a few locker doors wrapping their metal bodies around the vampire to prevent his escape again.", was so very close to murdering this young mademoiselle before you stepped in." More lies for her to cloak herself in. Centuries of this is what made these spill forth so easily. To her, she owed a proper apology to the illusionist. Hopefully giving him a chance at someone he so clearly showed feelings for would be enough...was it so clearly shown, or was it just one of her weird powers. She could never tell.
Either way, she decided she would weave a few more lies about what happened while Cailyn was unconscious before exiting the hall. "With a spell provided by moi, you drew the poison from her veins so one day this lady would awake to think of her brave rescuer fighting a vampire with the help of few others."
Providing a short applause, she continued. "I must say, Bravo my good lad, thou hast saved this young lady's life."
Thoughts pecked at her mind, tearing away a bit of her concentration. The smallest hint of reptilian features, a peek of scales, appeared near the palms of her hands and around her eyes. She shook her head and they disappeared, floating off her skin like the vampire details from earlier. "The girl must be famished and weak though...A meal perhaps? Dinner by the pond. I believe mortals─Eh hem, pardon me─ Merfolk, do appeal to such activities if not in the bodies of Di-hydrogen Monoxide that cover this Earth..."
As much as Ejira wanted to learn more of the three others in the hall, the book she had left on her bed beckoned her more. The book itself was one of Julius' secret diaries of his conquests of Europe, the entire collection stolen away by the nightling before his death. That particular volume contained one of many of the names Ejira had adopted and abandoned throughout the years. 'Amser' or Time as the Romans had gone to call her, had befriended the man, even claimed him as her Watcher before he was slaughtered by enemies and a lesser known Nightling. They were all later killed by Ejira.
Snapping back to reality, she relaxed, moving to lean on one of the stone walls before sitting on the floor. Her red hair pooled around her and she frowned. Flicking the inside of her right palm, an odd action, she brought feeling back into it, having lost it during thought. "By the way...The name is Galenorth. Ejira Galenorth."
