Rom sat on the edge of the bed. "What is it you want to know? Just know, some things I'll not reveal of myself."

[- drift.]

Janet thought for a moment, then looked up at him. "Who are the ones that killed your people?" She paused, unsure of she was being a bit too straight-forward. "And why are they coming after my own parents?" She finished, watching his expression closely.

"They are a group of people who wish to rule the clans. They knew the Lupi were too proud to be ruled, so they killed them all. They wish to kill your parents then come in and take over by restoring order to all." rom explained

Janet was silent for a few minutes as he spoke. She looked up at him, her eyes still curious. "Who are they?" She asked, meeting his gaze again. "How many of them are there?" She was surprised at how calm this boy seemed as he spoke about all of it.

"I don't know. I'm still trying to find them all." rom replied.

Janet nodded. She wasn't surprised he didn't know. "You don't have any idea as to who's behind it all?" She asked with wide eyes. "You don't have a clue who's doing it, other than the ones you've already killed?"

"Each one has led me to another. Whether they gave the information freely or not." rom explained, a slightly evil grin on his face.

Janet nodded, a bit scared by his acceptance for such violence, but not showing it. He couldn't scent her now tht he was in human form, could he? She shrugged. Her father wasn't kidding when he said this boy was dangerous. On a last thought, she looked at him, tilting her head slightly to the side. "So how did you come to be able to shift into two different forms?" She asked. She thought it would be spectacular to have more than one other form.

"Well most often, those with two forms are born to two different shifter parents. Some children of a serpite and aves would have both a bird and serpent form on rare occasions. Even rarer are those born to two parents of the same form. I was born to two Lupi parents yet I have the form of a wolf and eagle. It is said that more Lupi had two forms because of our closeness to our ancestors. Since we we're nomadic and still followed the old ways." Tom explained

Janet looked at him with a smile on her face. "That would be great, having two alternate forms." She said, more to herself than to Rom. Feeling a bit dumb, she gave him a polite smile. "I never thanked you for, well, saving my parents." She stated simply. "So, thank you."
