Janet walked down the corridors of the building, her eyes searching for any movement. There were still guards roaming the building, so she could still get sent back to her parents, but at least they wouldn't be standing right outside the door. She walked hurriedly down the hallway, finally reaching the door. She smiled, looking back an forth to make sure that no one was looking, then entered the room, turning and quickly shutting the door behind her. She let out a long breath of relief.

The room was dark only lot by a single candle on the headstand. Tom was not in the bed. Suddenly a growl came from the shadows. A huge form stepped out of the shadows. As it moved into the light, a huge black wolf stepped out. A long scar covered its left eye. It's eyes glowed amber.

[- drift.]

Janet turned around slowly, seeing that the room was dark, and her eyes widened as she saw the empty bed. She took a step back as the creature stepped from the shadows, but she didn't show any fear. "Romulous?" She asked quietly.

Rom shifted to his human form. "I'm sorry. I was told no one would desturb me at night. You hide fear well. But you can't hide the scent."

[- drift.]

Janet nodded, taking a step into the room as he shifted. "Sorry about disturbing you, there was just no other way I can talk to you alone." She said, leaning against the wall. She scowled as he made the comment about her fear. She hadn't taken into consideration the fact that he could scent her.

"Please. Have a seat." he said pulling a chair for her.

She nodded, surprised at his manners. She sat down in the chair he had offered her, and waited for him to take a seat as well. "Thank you." She said simply, watching him with curiosity.
