As Roms eyes met Janet's, they suddenly changed to glowing amber. He blinked and they returned to their original grey.

[- drift.]

Janet paused as she saw the color of the boy's eyes change, but when she blinked, they were back to normal, so she wasn't sure if it had actually happened, or if she had just imagined it. Shaking her head, she turned and headed out the door after her parents.

Mark closed the door behind them. "Im going to the garden. I'll see you ladies later."

Janet looked questioningly toward her father. "What about me?" She whispered, glancing back toward the room with the boy inside.

"Meet me in the south garden in ten minutes." mark replied in a whisper. He turned and headed down the corridor.

Janet nodded curtly, heading back over to her mother, who had gotten a bit ahead of her. The queen glanced down at her briefly, with a small smile, before she continued walking. Janet followed, her curiosity about the boy overwhelming her.

Mark waited in the south garden for Janet to arrive.

Janet walked with her mother through the corridors, and she ended up sighing, fearing her mother would never stop walking. "Mother, I'm going to go find out where father was going." She said, turning on her heel, and heading towards the gardens. Her mother looked at her with a stern expression, but didn't say anything, and kept walking. Janet turned, shifting into her alternate form, flying towards the south garden, shifting back into her human form, and approaching her father. "Why did you want to meet here, father?" She asked him, raising her eyebrows.

"To wish you luck in getting into Roms room. And to warm you. He is a dangerous man. I saw the weaponry he carried and only a person who knows how to use them would carry the deadly arsenal he did. Just be sure to tell me of your little adventure tomorrow. I'll keep your mother busy tonight. She does like the dancing." he said smirking and a twinkle in his eye.

Janet nodded. She was always cautious. She smiled at her father's last words, rolling her eyes. "Good to know, dad." She smirked, turning on her heel, and heading back in the direction on the young man's room.
