Kailei looked over at him. "Really?" She smiled widely, almost bouncing up and down.

"I think I know what love is." Mai paused, shifting slightly so that her face was hidden by England's chest. "Because I think I'm in love."

"Actually, I don't. I don't have the mind of an idiot, like you."

Finland nodded, smiling.

England smiled, “Me too.”

Pan narrowed his eyes, “Your so annooyyyingg, you know that?”

"Great!" Kailei said happily, pulling Finland towards the stairs that led to the basement. After finding them, she hesitated, standing at the top step and staring down them.

"You are?" Mai asked in slight disbelief.

Norway rolled his eyes. "It takes an annoying person to know an annoying person."

Finland followed, a little scared

England nodded

Pan narrowed his eyes, “Complain complain complain..” Neverland growled at Pan, “Shut up.” Pan scratched her neck harshly. “Don't tell me to shut up.”

Kailei started down the stairs, wincing at the loud creaking they made. Tightening her hold on Finland's hand in fear if losing him, she got down to a door. She looked over at Finland. "Still up to it?"

"You know... I don't think I've ever been in love with someone before."

Norway balled his hands into tight fists, resisting the urge to run over there and knock Pan unconscious. That would only make things worse. "You. Don't. Hurt. Her."

England said, “Oh.”

“I can do whatever I want to her.” Pan glared.

Pushing the door open, Kailei accidentaly let go of Finland's hand, drifting into the pitch black room. Running her hand along the wall, she attempted to find a lightswitch.

Mai nodded. "Kind of hard to love someone when they smack you around." She laughed bitterly, her hug getting tighter.

Norway felt his teeth grind together. "No wonder she hates you."

England blinked, hugging her also tighter

Pan rolled his eyes,

Kailei blinked, looking around nervously. "F-Finland...?"

Mai relaxed into his arms, sighing contently. For once she felt safe just being held by someone else.

Norway smirked, chuckling darkly. "What? No stupid remarks?"
