The dangers of the past(1x1 ˩σʌɛℓʏ βσиɛƨ Ѳғ Ѧιиɛ)

Jacob looked at Damion. "fine, But only if it involved fighting" jacob replied before he stood up, taking the helm off of the table. "But first I have to put this into the cabin" he said before he walked out of the mess hall. seeing a royally infuriated Samantha at the door of the Hades cabin. "Oh no..." he muttered before he walked into the Ares cabin. Seeing a couple of his sisters and brothers. "Interesting" he said placing the helmet into his things.

Turning Jacob silently left the cabin and walked back into the mess hall to find Damion. When he found him again he waved once more. "alright, ready to go?" he asked putting his hands in his pockets. boredom clear on his face. "and I wont stop going after an Artemis girl, after all they are friggan HOT" he said before looking at the Aphrodite kids. "Who knows what their mother did" he said with a sigh before he smacked himself in the head.

Samantha narrowed her bright blue eyes when Coraline shut the door on her. "she'll regret that" she hissed to herself before she left the bow by her door step. "Sheesh, Don't even want a present" she snarled through the door before she left into the forest to make herself a new bow. Silently she crept through the forest, listening to the enchanting songs of the nymphs of the trees and ponds.

Samantha looked around for the one she knew. "Sam!" she heard from behind her, turning Samantha spotted the water nymph. "hey" Samantha said as she sat down next to the pond the nymph played in. "Whats going on? the others are unusually loud today Lamia" she said crossing her legs in front of her as she carved a branch she kept in her cabin into the form of an arrow, pulling a thin but strong nylon string out of her pocket.

"Who knows when you need to replace a bow string" Lamia sighed at Samantha's boring behavior. "Hey, when you get out of that pond then you can talk to me, cause all you do is float about and splash people who walked by. Remember when you did that to me?" Samantha reminded the nymph of what happened when she was upset, then splashed with water. "Not a fun time for you" She said before shrugging it off.

[Tʜᴇ Fᴀʟʟᴇɴ Aɴɢᴇʟs]

Coraline, for one, didn't fight with a bow and arrow. So a bow was completely and utterly useless to her. It was a piece of wood and string. Nothing more. She fought with a sword, knives, and the occasional gun when she could get her hands on it, though the councilors had taken her pistol away when she chased an Ares boy down, barely missing his head with a bullet, when he had decided to get smart with her.

She looked at Cronus and pulled the bottle of whiskey to her lips again, taking a sip as the burning alcohol set fire to her throat. Her own life was her own, and she didn't tell anyone about her past, people knew about her brother only because she had been in camp with him for a year. Other then that, no one knew a thing but rumors. She didn't like to share about her past. You had to be really close to her to get that kind of information.

She looked around and then at Cronus," I get it, you can leave now..." She hissed, walking out the back door and heading towards the city which was about a mile or two from camp, it wouldn't be a long walk. She could probably pick some sap out of a club and make quick work then walk to camp like nothing happened.

After reaching the city, she placed her hands on her hips. There had to be at least one drunk bafoon around here somewhere. She doubted anyway from camp would be here so she had nothing to worry about, not really. All the cops here were clueless. She walked down the road, pulling her 'nice girl' act. She smiled sweetly and pushing her bangs from her eyes, tucking strands of hair behind her ear.

Damion rolled his eyes. He waited for Jacob to come back before looking at him and snorted. "You sound like a child. Trust me, they show no interest in you. Why do you think Samantha won't set you up with one of her siblings? And maybe if you started to act like an Ares kid, you know.. Strong, loyal, someone who can charm women... They'd talk to ya!" He said, honestly believing that Jacob had no chance with any of those girls.

He began to walk towards the town but blinked when he saw the Hades cabin had a bow on the porch. He also saw Coraline leave.. Hm. He wondered what he could find in her cabin... Maybe later. He wanted to pick up some nice trinkets for a certain person in camp... But he had to steal them in town. They weren't cheap, and he was broke.

He put his hands in his pockets," Come Jacob!" he called, walking towards the town.

Jacob stared at Damion like he was mad. Silently, the area child walked after him, standing at his side before he reached his left hand up and smacked him in the back of the head. "Don't. Talk. To. Me. Like. I'm. My. Father" Jacob said, anger coating his words before he noticed the bow and quiver of arrows by Coraline's door. "Interesting, I didn't know she hunted with bows and arrows" Jacob commented, seeming completely clueless.

Jacob looked back at Damion before he spoke again, "Besides, To be loyal to people they have to be close to me, I am strong as demonstrated in games of football against the other campers, and I am a lady charmer, it's just all the Aphrodite's hit on me" He sighed before shaking his head. The zipper of his black jacket flowing aimlessly behind him.

"Damion, Whens the last time you acted like a Hermes kid? You know, Ran around camp causing mischief, pick pocketing others, taking the pets of the Apollo children to make a lyre. That kind of stuff." he said before he continued walking, looking over his shoulder at Damion. Suddenly Jacob stopped, "Do you hear that?" he asked looking towards the forest, hearing splashing and two voices. "Perhaps we can see about whose the lady charmer" he said smirking, thinking maybe a Artemis child was in the forest bathing.

Jacob chuckled before he looked back at Damion, "Well, are we going to go check it out or not? we can pick pocket people in the town as soon as we know whats in the forest." Jacob said, looking particularly interested. That is before he watched another Aphrodite kid run by him into the forest. "Alright, never mind lets go" he said walking towards the town, realizing that the people in the pond were probably the Aphrodite kids.

Samantha sighed before she leaned back against the tree next to her, finishing up the bow quickly and silently. She watched as Aphrodite kids walked past her scoffing at how she was wearing good clothes and getting them dirty on the ground. [i]Maybe I could get Damion to help me raid the Aphrodite Cabin while they are asleep and throw all their clothes into Lamia's pond, "Hey, Lamia" Samantha called to the nymph. Only getting a questioned look as an answer.

"Would you be okay if I drop by tonight with a bunch of clothes and put them into your pond?" she asked looking carefully at the playful water nymph. "Sure, It's fine by me" Lamia replied as she splashed around in the water again. Clearly looking pleased that instead of being a tree nymph she lived in water, a sigh escaped Samantha's throat. "Whats wrong Sam?" Lamia asked looking at the Artemis child.

"Nothing Lamia, It's nothing." Samantha replied waving her hand in a way of dismissing the conversation. "alright, I'll drop by once I'm done hunting, See ya Lamia" Samantha said as she stood up. placing her old bow in Lamia's pond in which the water nymph splashed around happily. glad that she got another Artemis child hand crafted wooden bow. Samantha pushed her hair out of her eyes as she scanned the forest for any tracks of a buck.

Samantha dropped to her knees and she looked at the prints in the ground, finding the buck she was looking for. "There," she muttered before standing back up. Putting an arrow into the bow, walking along with it ready to be shot. When she finally spotted the buck she was looking for she pulled back on the string again. Lining it up with it's chest for a clean kill, "Wait for it." She said before releasing the arrow. Sending it deep into the buck's chest, causing it to crash into the forest floor in a clean kill.

"Yes!" Samantha exclaimed happily as she ran over to it. Looking up at the sky, "Thanks mom" She muttered before gently removing the arrow from the buck's chest. "Lucky number 1,753" she said simply as she grabbed the deer by the front legs, putting it's head on her shoulder as she made her way back to the Artemis cabin to put the deer in full view of the others.

Damion looked at him and rolled his eyes, "Whatever..." He looked at the Ares boy and said, "Remember whose older here, Jake... Son of Ares or not." He warned. He looked at the Hades cabin and said, "She doesn't. Which is why that thing will likely stay out there till next week... I've seen her knife collection... She doesn't use arrows and bows... And she doesn't hunt..." He said, shrugging... He knew this much of Coraline only because he had known her brother. Everyone knew about Derek! He was about the nicest person you could know, and blonde, so everyone thought he was an Apollo kid... but he could raise the dead so they knew he was the child of Hades.

Damion raised an eyebrow and said, "You ever make an effort to be close to people? By strong I meant defending another camper in a fight... And the Aphrodites hit on anyone who moves..." He said with a roll of his eyes. It wasn't a great accomplishment that an Aphrodite hit on you...

He raised an eyebrow at the question and said, "Yesterday.... Stole your brothers armor, gave it to one of the metal working kids, and they turned it into a sculpture of a balloon animal..." He said, shrugging... He listened to Jacob and rolled his eyes. "You are about as immature as a twelve year old..." He said, walking towards the town again, not even having stopped. He didn't have much interest in peeping in on girls, and from the splashing and voices they might be bathing.

"I thought the Ares kids were supposed to be honorable... You seem like anything but... you don't know if a girl is bathing over there or not..." He said, rolling his eyes and continuing to walk... he held little to no respect to a guy who couldn't keep it in his pants or was a perv for no reason. "Listen, there isn't going to be any fighting... Why don't you just stay behind... It'll make it an easier trip on my own." He said, not glancing back at him...

Damion continued to walk until he was in the city. He looked around and found the jewelry store... He walked in and found the perfect piece that he had been eying... It was perfect for what he needed... He saw the man who ran the store was busy with someone else, and he smirked... He made sure no one saw as he slid behind the counter and picked the lock to the jewelry. He opened it and grabbed what he needed and put it in his pocket before sneaking into the back and into the bathroom... He knew he couldn't sneak out the front door... that'd be stupid... he'd be caught... So, he looked at the boys bathroom window and slid out into an alley way... the perfect heist! Now he just needed to get out of here without anyone noticing...

Coraline smirked and slipped into a club, her odd outfit blending in perfectly.. she needed some drunk moron... Anyone... She walked around a bit before deciding she'd had some fun before doing this.

She walked to the floor of the club and smirked, the heavy music having a nice beat, even though the music was dark. She closed her eyes and began to move her body to the music, knowing someone would notice her sooner or later. Her black hair twirled around her body, causing her to look like she had a shadow coming from her head instead of hair.

Jacob watched Damion leave before he grumbled. "So? doesn't mean I ALWAYS have to defend another sibling, they can take care of themselves" he muttered and polished off his chest plate. the bronze color shining the the morning sun. He looked around before he sighed, face palming in the middle of the large camp.

"Seriously? I'm the only one who doesn't have anything to do?" he said frustrated before he stalked off to the Ares cabin, all of his siblings were outside doing something else which left him to do what ever he wanted in the cabin. "Excellent" he said mischievously rubbing his hands together. "Now... lets see... Jimmy, John, Jack, Joe, Joey... Why do all of these names have a 'J' in the beginning?" Jacob said before he smacked his head into a low hanging rafter. "Ow" he grumbled before ducking under it.

"Joseph. Ah finally. Steven, he doesn't have a 'J' in his name!" Jacob said before he went off back to his bed in boredom. Picking him helm off of the floor and polished it. His hand brushed over the dried blood, making him sigh. "You know, all this time I thought I would meet Ares at least once. I've been here for five years. Not once has he decided to stop on bye for a visit" he growled throwing the helm across the room out of anger.

Samantha placed the buck next to Lamia's pond. "Lamia, I'm back" she called, looking into the water, searching for the water nymph before she was hastily pulled in. Samantha squirmed before feeling an air bubble pressed to her mouth. "Shh" she heard Lamia said as she pointed up to the surface of the water.

Samantha looked up, not seeing anything there until she focused more on where she was pointing. seeing the faint outlines of the horses from Helios. "Interesting. I didn't know he would be riding out today" she commented mentally. "I thought that one of his sons would do it since James went off to visit his father." she sighed looking at Lamia who was staring at Helios's chariot. "He must not see an Artemis girl outside right now." Lamia said before shrugging "I don't know why" She responded to Samanthas questioning look.
