This boy obviously didn't have the same feelings toward his mutation as she did hers. She disliked that she was an instrument, hated it really, but she enjoyed using her abilities on her own terms. His bitter tone of voice persuaded her not to try and bring more about it out of him, so she pushed it out of her mind. Of course, she was interested in what he could do. She was just far more interested in trying to get him to leave with her. Or try to.
Her hair fell over the white uniform shirt that she had to wear, the effect similar to that of blood on fresh snow, and she knew the contrast between her hair and her pale face was almost the same. The brown haired boy was guarded again, his remorseful look fleeing away from his eyes. "But that's where you're wrong." a smile played teasingly over her peach colored lips. "I can teleport. It's worth a try. And really, what's the worst they could do?" the playful spark blinked out of her eyes for a moment. She'd seen the worst they could do. They hadn't done it to her, couldn't risk a successful experiment turning even further against them, but she had seen it done to others. And heard. A chill worked it's way down her spine, lodging in her gut. But now it was only feeding the adrenaline. "Come on. Trust me."
She leaned back, flipping her slight waves over her shoulder. She rocked onto her tip toes, lessening the height difference so that she could look into his eyes without hurting her neck. Her devious grin was back, and she leaned forward to place a kiss on his cheek before teleporting to stand in front of her main guard. "Jerk." the words growled out of her throat as she launched a vicious kicked towards his inner thigh. She quickly 'jumped' away again, as she'd begun to call it. She didn't want to be close to the uniformed thugs when they recovered from their shock. She was back in front of the new boy, and she twirled, grabbing onto his arm. Her grimace from the awkward position the handcuffs put her hands in didn't stop her from seeing the employees launching themselves at the two, angry snarls on their faces. She had to close her eyes to concentrate, but she was still aware of the danger.
She brought herself and the boy back to the inside of the building, and she gasped, nearly losing her hold on his arm as she felt the dramatic decrease in her energy. With her back to Simon, she couldn't figure out how he was handling jumping with her for the first time, but she didn't have the mind space to worry about that anyways. Her gray eyes flew open and she quickly glanced around. They were in the eating area. Not far enough. Drawing a breath deep into her chest, she squinted and jumped with the boy again.
She fell to her knees, releasing the handhold she had on Simon's arm. Panting, her eyes closed for a moment before she adjusted to her lack of energy. She'd never tried teleporting with someone else before, and Simon was a bit larger than herself. She should have expected to feel tired. Looking around from her place on the floor, she couldn't recognize the room. Oh well, this would have to be far enough for now. Perhaps there was enough distance between this place and the heavily guarded portion of the facility that the prisoners lived in.
