Rayvon walked on the edge of the lake, the reflection of the sun was bright and nearly blinding. It was almost evening, and Rayvon hadn't eaten all day, but she wasn't hungry at that moment. She always waited for her companion, her pet Raven, to come and eat with her. It didn't matter how long it took for him to get there, even if it took a week. She would wait.

Circus yawned, licking a paw before doing so to the other. He got up and stretched his long legs, walking over to a shady tree. He sighed, flying up to the top of the tree and looking at the bright, blue sky. Launching himself up from the tree, Circus made his way into the air. He was a little wobbly at first, but maintained his balance. Flying at top speed, Circus' fur was flying everywhere. I love the wind in my fur. He thought, speeding up. The wolf's fur was covering his face. Circus made a long scream and hit a tree, falling on the ground beside Rayvon.

Rayvon turned to see the wolf behind her. She made a slight grin and then continued walking, feeling the heat from the sun soak into her pelt. It was a bit weird with only her, Circus, and her raven in the valley, but then again, it was nice because you could be alone for hours on end. "So," Rayvon finally said, halting all of a sudden.

Circus rubbed his head, looking up at the she-wolf. He got up quickly, shaking off his grey pelt. His wings were dirty, but he would take a swim in the river after he was done explaining himself. He folded his wings on his side, and stared at her. "Uhh..hey." He said, with a sheepish grin spread across his grey muzzle.

She shook her head at him, holding back a giggle. Rayvon stretched out her wings, letting the muscles tense then relax. She hadn't been flying that day, she was to lazy. Partly because she had nothing to do all day, but at least soon she would have something to do, and now that Circus was here, then something would more than likely happen.

Circus rolled his eyes, spreading his wings and walking closer to the river. knee deep into the water, he continued to walk in. "C-Cold.." He muttered, swimming under water. A few moments later, he came back up and smiled at her, dirty wings now white. A leaf fell off the tree, and landed on Circus' nose. Staring at the leaf on his nose, he swam under water again to get it off. He went to deep, and hit a rock under water. Circus passed out, and this time he didn't come up.

"Oh brother," Rayvon said, She flew up into the air and hit the water with a painful sounding splat. She could barely open her eyes, and when she did, it was a murky brown color. It was hard to see the fish, let alone a wolf in the water. She went up to the surface taking a deep breath. She looked around, splashing and flailing her paws. Finally she got enough air and filled her lungs with enough air and submerged again. She had a little more time to stay underwater this time, but still not that long. She looked to her left and right, and finally saw him laying at the bottom. She blew a bubble out of her nose, as the air slowly started to run out, and she was able to grab ahold of his fur. She was half way there when she had to let go to get more air. Then, with one last deep breath, she dove down and got him on top of her. She tried to push him up, but he was heavy, and she didn't have much air this time.

Circus opened his eyes. "Aaaaah!" He yelled, but bubbles came up from his mouth and surfaced. He closed his eyes tight, swimming up to the surface and coughing. "Ray-Rayvon.." He said, passing out on the edge of the bank.

Rayvon couldn't keep her breath any longer and she opened her mouth as water filled her lungs and she sunk to the bottom, choking, trying to find the strength to pull her up. She grew weaker as she thought of the air, but drawing in water instead of air.

Coughing up water, Circus opened his eyes sleepily. "Huh?" He said, eyes growing wider. He took a big breath, then jumped into the water, swimming and feeling around for Rayvon. Grabbing her by the scruff, Circus tried to pull her up. He kept on pulling her up to the shore, and trying to reach the surface. One paw gripping onto the edge, the other paw holding Rayvon. He threw her over his shoulder, climbing up onto the bank, rolling Rayvon on her back. "Wake up!" He whined, pushing on her chest.
