Lucy stood, so she was at his eye level. "Do you want me to?" She felt her face getting hot.

Jasper nodded. "Yeah." He said.

He shrugged. "I-I mean... yeah. I would have found someone else to ask if I didn't."

"It's sort of weird, being here," she said, nodding.

Lucy blushed again. "Well...I think the boy is supposed to kiss the girl first," she said, watching him.

Jasper nodded. "I understand. I mean, you don't have a single good memory here. I have tons."

Evan hesitated, then kissed her quickly.

Cara smiled, about to say something when she saw something out of the window that made her eyes widen. "Did he just...?!"

Lucy blinked when it happened, but then smiled once it was over, linking her hands behind her back. "That wasn't bad...like you know, how boys have cooties and stuff, but I didn't notice 'em."

Jasper frowned. "Did he just what?" He asked, sounding very protective.

Evan smiled. "I didn't notice the girly cooties either."

"I think he just kissed Lucy," Cara said, frowning as she watched.

Lucy smiled at him, suddenly shy. "Was it okay?"

Evan smiled, and nodded. "Uh-huh. Was it okay for you?"
