Jasper shook his head. "As much as I want to let you, you can't. It'll only create more issues, and I don't want you guys involved. You still like in his kingdom, remember?"

"I know. Which I can use to my advantage," he said, then looked at Jasper. "Some people in the village are talking about rising about against the king, and taking the kingdom back. They want YOU to rule, Jasper. So they're organizing an attack--ambush, if you will. This is my chance to get back at him."

Jasper thought about this for a few minutes. If he were to become king, that would mean... a lot of things for Cara and the kids alone. He looked up at Jeffery. "Have at it."

A grin slowly spread across Jeffrey's face, and he stood, nodding. He walked back over to his siblings.

Cara looked over at Jasper and frowned. "What was that all about?"

Jasper looked over at Cara. "Nothing." He said simply. He didn't want her to worry.

"Jasperrrrrrrr," she groaned. "I can tell when you're lying."

Jasper looked at her. "Well... I may becoming king soon." He said.

Cara blinked in surprise. "Say what?"

Jasper smiled. "Some villagers are planning to overthrow my father so I can have the thrown."

Cara's eyes widened. "No no no no no, they can't do that!" she said worriedly. "I mean, it's great that you might get the throne and all, but the king has an ARMY. Much larger than any number of villagers!"
