Not many understand the comfort I get when I walk into a bookstore and take a deep breath as I look around. I feel at home; I feel welcome. I don't have to purchase anything. Being surrounded by books fills me with a sense of security.

Cara smiled softly and kissed him back, shifting so her arms were around his neck. As usual, her heart fluttered in her chest and her stomach did somersaults. Something about Jasper just made her happy all over, much like she assume her mother felt about her father. She truly loved him, and nothing in the world could ever change that.

Her heart fluttered again when he smiled. Eventually she'd have to pull away, but she didn't want to just yet. Keeping one arm around his neck, she placed her left palm on his cheek.
