Lizzie was absolutely and utterly exhausted, but the moment the baby was brought in, her face lit up. "Let me see him." She held her arms out for the tiny bundle.

Lizzie looked down at the baby in her arms, overwhelmed with pride and adoration. "Look at him...he's so small," she whispered, tears springing to her eyes. Normally it took a lot to make her cry, but now she couldn't help it.
