Rory kissed her hand as he drove to the castle hospital. There was NO way he was taking a chance with his child.

Lizzie whimpered. "Rory, hurry." She squeezed his hand.

Rory nodded. "I know. Breathe baby," he said as he pulled in.

Lizzie nodded and tried to focus on breathing, but it was difficult to focus on anything right then. Once they'd pulled in, she started trying to waddle her way into the hospital.

Someone had brought them a wheelchair and Rory sat hwr in it and pushed her in.

Lizzie laid in her hospital bed, closing her eyes. She was absolutely exhausted. Everything hurt, but she knew that the pain would pass eventually. The most important thing was that they'd done it. The baby was here.

Rory sat at her side, waiting for the baby to be brought back to them. "Are you okay sweetie?"

Lizzie looked up at him and smiled tiredly. "I've been better," she replied honestly. "Where's the baby?"

"They took him back to clean him up and make sure he's healthy," he said.
