Cam looked at her. "What's wrong baby?"

Alli shook her head. "It's Lucy." The kids were too busy playing with their toys to take much notice of the conversation.

Cam got up. "What? Is she okay?" He was always worried about his sister ever since she almost passed.

"I...I don't know," Alli admitted. "Just...follow me." She turned and led him back to the room she'd last seen Lucy in.

Sure enough, Lucy was still in the room, crying. She didn't even notice the two of them come in.

Cam sat by her. "Hey Lulu. You okay?" He kept his voice soft and comforting. "What's wrong?"

Lucy had seated herself on their bed. She whimpered and fell into his arms as she heard him sit beside her. "Evan..." she sobbed.

Cam frowned and hugged her. "What about him?"

"He...Lexa..." Lucy shook her head as more tears spilled over.

Cam felt his blood boil. He'd hurt her again. "No way." He sighed. "Just let it out. I'll deal with that lying scumbag later. Three times hurting you is three times to many."

Lucy just cried into him, her heart cracking. She just couldn't figure out why something like this had happened. Why did it have to be Lexa? "It hurts, Cam," she whimpered. "It hurts. Make it stop."
