Alli's voice caught in her throat, but she managed to get out, "I love you too." It was so overwhelmingly sweet to her that he'd be willing to do so much for her.

Cam held her to him. "Remember the night that your father came? And later that night we were in the bedroom and you realized I love you?" he asked softly.

Alli nodded a bit, swallowing hard as she bit back more tears as they threatened to come.

Cam put his head on hers. "I remember thinking that I couldn't possibly love you anymore than I did in that moment. And guess what? I love you so much more. It just keeps growing, every day."

Alli's lower lip trembled. "Really?" she whispered. "Then that makes two of us." She still cried quietly, but by then it was more of a good thing than bad. She loved Cam with her entire heart and then some.

Cam nodded, scooting away a bit. "Look at me, baby."

Alli lifted her head to look at him.

Cam wiped her eyes, and brushed some hair from her face. After a moment, he kissed her. "They should be here any moment to take us home baby."

Everything seemed to melt away when he kissed her, but it came back when he pulled away. Alli swallowed hard and nodded slightly. "Okay," she said quietly.
