Molly nodded again. "Yes. But whatever you do, don't let my family see you. If they knew..." She bit her lip.

"I know," he said, kissing her cheek.

Molly nodded in relief. "Thank you so much."

"No problem" he said and went to the store.

Molly stayed in bed, praying that things would turn out alright.

After about an hour, Charlie came back. "I got you some medicine so if it's not..."

Molly nodded in relief. "Thank you so much," she breathed. She pushed herself up carefully and made sure she was steady before taking the bag and walking to the bathroom. Her heart pounded.

Charlie sighed, watching her.

Molly walked from the bathroom five minutes later, holding both tests in her hands. She bit her lip, looking as though she wanted to cry. One sported a little pink plus sign while the other held a blue negative. She swallowed hard. "I don't know which one to believe."
