Lizzie shrugged. "I don't really know what there is to talk about on my end. You already know how I spent the last few months." She gestured to her shirt, which was now an entire size too big.

Rory sighed, nodding. "We need to get you eating again," he said.

Lizzie's nose wrinkled. "To be honest, I don't think I can. My stomach gets all weird now if I eat too much. Or, that is, more than I'm used to."

Rory sighed. "I'm not chancing anything anymore, Lizzie. If something even appears to be wrong, nip it in the bud."

Lizzie looked up at him. "What do you mean?" she asked, wondering what he meant by chancing it.

"I don't want to take any chances. Not even a cold. I'm a bit paranoid, and I'm sorry."

Lizzie shook her head, getting it after the explanation. "No, I understand," she said softly. "I'm just afraid that if I try to eat a bunch, I'll just end up being more sick."

"Start slowly. Just a little bit extra til you're back to normal."

Lizzie bit her lip. "You think I can do that?" she asked him.
