Lizzie sat on the couch, not in her bedroom for once. Cam had gone out to get groceries.

Rory had been released from the hospital that day. The doctors never got a chance to tell her he lived. He was confused. Why wasn't Lizzie there anymore? He sighed, walking up to the house. His cancer was gone now. He tried the door to see if it was locked. After a moment of hesitation, he walked through the door.

Lizzie heard the door open. She didn't move, assuming it was Cam.

Rory stepped in. "Elizabeth," he murmured.

Lizzie's eyes snapped open and she flew to her feet. Only one person in the entire world called her by her first name, and that one person had been dead for months. She turned to see Rory standing there by the front door. She let out a cry and her hands flew to her mouth. "Oh my God!" Without even pausing to question the circumstances, she ran to him and jumped into his arms. She kissed his face all over, starting to cry with joy. "Oh God Rory, you're alive you're alive you're alive!"
