"Thanks baby," he said. He pulled out fries.

Lizzie smiled. "You're welcome." She pulled up a chair and sat beside his bed, starting on her own meal.

Lizzie knew he wouldn't eat much, and that was understandable. After all, the treatment process had begun by then, which would probably stunt his eating habits a bit. Therefore, she decided not to worry about it as she bit into her hamburger.

Rory set aside his food, and yawned.

Lizzie looked over and smiled. "Get some rest, sweetheart."

"Are you sure?" he asked.

Lizzie nodded. "Of course. I'll be here when you wake up, I promise."

"Oay, baby," he said. He laid down and quickly fell asleep.
