Managed to dig out my old character,
though I might make updates and changes to her form a bit later on... XD

She's like.. a character that I've had for 3 years... o - o
Certain parts I made up and did the best I could to make it convincing...

This girl needs serious updating of her profile... XD

Name: Nakashima Aiko (Aika-chan)

Age: 17 (EARTH AGE) / 112 (SHINIGAMI AGE)

Gender: Female

Personality: Slightly secluded in nature due to a somewhat upsetting past, she hides her emotions a lot- however depending on who she's with, she may reveal how she feels to those she trusts. She can be somewhat aloof at times.. due to her trying her best not to get too close to others, her lack of confidence has given her many trust issues.. it's hard to get close to her- however she does hold a certain respect for authority, preferring to obey without question rather then get into trouble. Slightly emotional, it tends to get in her way when in the midst of battle, and it has proven to be a hazard occasionally... Though she is polite, sarcasm is apparent in her tone should the need come for her to be- but deep down she desires true friends and people she can call family.. the one she so sadly lost as a mortal.

Other: She was, like most other shinigami, once a mortal. She lived a mortal life, back on Earth. A young 17 year old girl, with so much to do.. a young spirit with so many different paths in life you have yet to walked upon... but it will all be nothing but a memory now. As a kid, she never really found out who her parents were. They were violently killed by a hollow; one they called "Mayuu" or "Midnight Dragon".. He appeared from out of nowhere one dark night; it was snowing a blizzard and her parents couldn't see much in the distanceー and that's when he struck. Without warning.. from within the shadows.. he struck like a coward from the safety of the darkness. They never saw it comingー the only comfort they could have gotten was a swift and fast end at the jaws of such a sinful beast as Mayuu.

She was heartbroken, she lost the only family she had and whats worseー she had to stay with her uncle; who absolutely despised her with a vengence. Well.. after all the suffering she endured at the hands of her uncle, he was attacked by the very same hollowー Mayuu. It was an especially violent and gruesome death for her uncle; one she took pleasure in no doubt, but the sight of Mayuu drove her insane and she charged at him without a second thought. Well.. mortals were never a match for a hollow; she was cut down to size in a mere second. She saw her life flash before her eyes, your family and friends.. all gone. When suddenly, a flash of silver and Mayuu disappeared (fled most likely) into thin airー she looked around frantically for the source and behold quite a sight to see; a young lady cad in a robe, brandishing a blade of pure snowー white as can be.

She looked at the soul with pity in her eyes; but a spark of surprise suddenly struck her as she inspected her. She was Kuchiki Rukia; a shinigami from Soul Societyー and she saw something in the soul before her that sparked her interest and concern; Rukia took the soul of Aiko back home with her. Back in Soul Society, Aiko nervously tagged along with Rukia as she guided her to the Council and Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai; Captain of the 1st Division and leader of the Gotei 13. He peered at her curiously; while she on the other hand stood as still as she could before him and the captains of the Gotei 13. He spoke with command and confidence; with a tone that demanded respect and obedience.

Aiko had the unique spark, that defines a normal soul and one that possess potentional to be a Shinigami- a different kind of soul.. stronger in spiritual energy then the average one... it's how future Shinigamis or normal citizens are picked. She had that spark of a fighter, and she may hold some promise... It seems that little difference in her soul has presented her with quite an interesting and exciting future here in Soul Society...

If no picture then Description: Slightly paler compared to others, her jet black hair fell limply beyond her shoulders- not too long that she'll tread onto her hair, but still much longer then most other female Shinigami in Soul Society. It glistens slightly under light, like a shine under the beams of the moon. Her eyes were the darkest of brown, easily confused to be black till light shines on them. Her eyes were cold and sometimes emotionless- like a mask to hide her true self... Shorter then most male Shinigami, she however can be quick on her feet- from the running she's done as a mortal to escape her Uncle at times. Slightly on the thin side, you couldn't see her frame beneath the standard-issued uniform of a Shinigami. Occasionally, her hair would be tied into a high ponytail, with two thin braided strands of hair on the left of her head- with two gems tied to it, a black and a red one.

Her weapon of choice was a mixture of two.

The basic form being twin luminous blue daggers whose blades can split apart, having a claw-like look to it; though in it's second fully released form- it becomes solely an aggressive weapon rather then a defensive one, having a scythe-like look to it. Not much has been revealed of her weapon- which will only be discovered as the story moves on further.
