Early in the morning, before the sun had risen over the mountains, someone was already awake and walking through the ranch house. They were heavy steps, unlike someone who was trying to keep quiet -like a burglar- and didn't much are about waking anyone else up in the large house. As he turned a corner into the kitchen he flipped on a light. As you could see clearly now, it was Mark. One of the owners of the stable and most of the horses.
His eyes squinted at the sudden burst of light filling the room and they stayed like this for a few moments before he was able to see clearly without burning his eyes. His hair was a mess, and he was wearing a white t-shirt and plaid pajama pants. Obviously he had just woken up.
He started making his way through the kitchen and towards the wood stained counter where the coffee pot sat plugged into the wall. No one had gotten up before him as usual so he had to make the first pot. Joy. He reached up in the cabinet, pulling down the coffee grounds that were in a container and he sat it on the counter. After this he filled the pot with water and dumped it into the back portion under the lid of the coffee pot where it would heat up and come through the coffee grounds. He changed out the old filter with a new one and threw the old one into the black trash can under the sink and started scooping coffee grounds into the new container. Once there was enough there, he closed the lid and pressed start.
All there was to do now was wait. So that's what he did.

There was the sound of tyres on dirt as a large, very clean and flashy land river pulled in just outside and Andrew jumped out, followed by his father in a very expensive swiss suit. He sniffed softly at the ranch and clicked his fingers as another flashy land river pulled up, a trailer behind each Land Rover. He wrapped his knuckled on the kitchen door, seeing mark inside. He opened the door, still looking disgusted,"I am Richard Bell, I am here with my son to drop him off, where is the manager boy," he asked, straightening out his suit.

Jut then Laura stepped in,"If you call him boy then you can get out," she snapped as she sat down wih a groan. She had not slept, she was still on call, she was always on call. 24/7 and seven days a week, do she was exhausted and barely able to stand.

Mark turned around at the sound of a knock and people entering in the house. Rich kids. Great. Just what he needed was a bunch of snobby little kids running around his ranch. "I happen to own this place." He told him as he cleared his throat and ran his fingers through his hair. "Don't you think it's a bit early to be bring someone to the stables? We don't usually accept things like this until everything has been cleaned out in the stable. Unless you would be willing to help that is." he said to the man in the suit. He knew that this statement was probably a stupid thing to say, but hey. If you couldn't get a little pleasure out of something then what was the point in saying anything?

He snorted, taking out his mobile phone,"Considering I am about to save his ranch from bankruptcy I think I can arrive whenever I want, now go take the horses to the stables, and you young lady should get your act together," he said in a demanding voice. Laura glared at him,"I have been castrating animals for a very long time, I would not get on the wrong side of me if you know what is good for you," she growled as the man turned on heel and walked outside. The two men who came onthe second Land Rover were unloading the trailers, and all Andrews extremely well trained horses came walking out perfectly.

Laura groaned and looked at Mark,"You know I have my kit with me, give me the word and I can shoot him with tranquilliser," she offered as she put her feet up and closed her eyes.

Mark looked over at Laura and shook his head. "You know better than that. We need to be as welcoming as possible.. Even if some of the people who come are snobs." He said to her. "After all. We do need the help, the classes aren't getting us much anywhere." He said before walking down the back hall. He might as well get changed out of his morning and night clothes before heading to the stables where they were unloading all the horses and such. His room was all the way in the back, so it took him a few moments to get back there. Once he was though he started pulling out drawers and getting a pair of old jeans and a blue and white plaid button up shirt. He changed within minutes and straightened his hair with his hands as he walked out of his room and back to the living room. "Why don't you go wake up Emily? We could use her help." He suggested, but more of a soft order kind of way. He slid on his boots and walked outside, making his way to the stables.

Laura pouted slightly and sighed, standing up and knocking on Emilies door,"You better get out here, the new student has arrived, and au am close to castrating his father," she said as she walked in. She woke her up with a shame,"Rise and shine darling," she said with a laugh before walking out. She walked to Mark,"Hey Mark, I need to talk to you, about my bill. I didn't want to talk to Emily about it, but it is four months overdue, and I don't work for free, I hate to bring this up," she said with a soft sigh in a low voice.

Andrew stepped out of the landrover and removed his earphones and looked up at the ranch with a smile. He then looked at his horses as they were led out of the horse box's, he loved his horses, more then anything.
