Jason walked back down, he could still hear her faint words as he grabbed the last of her bags and brought them up to her room. On his way up he started to ponder her questions "From what I've heard, you'll be helping me mot of the time. But for now try and get a little comfortable, I'll show you around in a couple minutes..." he said as he then set the last of her stuff in her room and then leaned against the door frame. "I'm Jason, by the way." he said as he then pushed himself off the frame of the door.
"Mom and dad are out in the fields, so if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask" he said and then walked down stairs into the kitchen. He grabbed a glass and then went to the facet and filled the glass up with water, he drank the flavorless liquid in a few seconds and put the glass by the sink to use later. He yawned a little and then saw Marvel sitting out on the porch. He smiled faintly and just sat down on the counter, waiting for something to happen.

I studied him as he leaned against the doorway, cocking my head to the side. Show me around... What is that supposed to mean? Show me all of the stupid barn and around the fields. Great way to spend the summer... Letting out a short puff of air, I looked at my feet. "Kat.'' I responded when he told me that his name was Jason. The name Jason really fit him, it just seemed like him... And now I'm thinking like an idiot. Biting the inside of my cheek gently, I glanced back up at him, my eyes bright. I seemed just like I would at home. I'd do whatever it took to get what I wanted, and I'm sure I could get out of the work he mentioned earlier.
"Alright, sounds great." I said flatly, my sudden boost of happiness vanashing at the word 'fields'. The thoughts of what my dad and mummy might be doing right now make me sick. Just... Grossed out. Looking at him as he left the room, I nodded softly. So... What now? I sit here and wait? No, I'd start doing whatever it was I was supposed to do. That way, I'd get out of this soon enough. Waiting there for several minutes, I finally looked at the mirror above the dresser in the room. Braiding my hair, I left two shorter curls to frame both sides of my face, finishing my braid by sweeping it to the right and tying it. Turning, I left the room, quietly shutting the wooden door, and going down the stairs. Looking around for a minute, I saw him in the kitchen sitting on the counter. "Ready." I said, folding my arms loosley across my chest, watching him evenly.
