Just a simple roleplay for Wes and I to let our characters get to know eachother better. <3
Dont think I need to state any rules, they are self explanitory, but Tess's Rules apply. Naturally. <3

Personality:
Holly is said to love travel. She is energetic, intelligent and ambitious. She can also be impatient, hotheaded and egotistical. She has a great sense of humor and fall in love easily.
She is often the life of the party although just as happy in her warm, comfortable home. Sometimes, Holly can be impulsive and erratic. Freedom is a top priority so the she is often slow to settle down.

Holly is often the most creative and artistic of dogs. She charming, well mannered but can at times be lazy. She is intelligent and hate to be rushed or pressured into anything. Often moody, Holly can also be loving and very sensitive.
History:
Holly was taken from her mother at a young age, and thrown into a horrible home. The owner was recently divorced, with two twin daughters, and had to find a way to sustain himself. Bad choice, however; he chose to get into the drug market. People were always coming and going, and the place was filthy. It is suspected Holly was abused as well, by the children and the father.

Colby's like a soft and overly worn squeaky chew toy that every dog just loves to have. He has a really comforting mood about him, and just having him around is usually enough to make most dogs happy. He's not good at taking charge - he's too all-around goofy to handle any big matters. He's jumpy and excitable, and he likes to pretend he's the big strong-man and that he's independent, though he really needs the shoulder of a female to "lean on". Colby would love to be exposed to true love and a female that would be easily swooned over would make his best companion. He's a big softie, and he acts quite young and immature for his age, so it's no secret that he'll need a female to set him straight and keep him in line.

History;;
Bred in a puppy mill, but the owner of the mill hired a few unknowledgeable people that allowed some purebreds of different breeds enough time to have a mutt. Colby, as this mutt, was despised by all of the workers in the mill, and he was dropped off at a shelter slowly dying from lack of popularity and support. The shelter volunteers were not able to rehome the beaten and battered puppy left very broken inside from the mill before they eventually went into foreclosure and far past bankrupcy. The small, "local" shelter gave its remaining animals to a larger brnach of animal shelters and they placed him in a foster home. Recently he escaped, though he loved his owners, because he was curious about the cars around his backyard and wanted to explore, but could never find his way home. Now he's on a quest to reach home, roaming the streets many many miles from it. All he wants is to get home, but will his love for Holly Girl stop this desire?

A young yellow labrador could be seen crawling under a hole in a fence that surrounded one of the many vacant houses in the area, her slim figure dissapearing quickly into an alleyway. She stretched her legs out as she walked, maw widening in the form of a yawn. Holly shook her pelt out, blinking as she suddenly stepped into the dawn's first signs of sunlight. A small smile formed at the corners of her mouth, and Holly began to jog lightly down the alley, claws clacking lightly aginst the pavement. What would it be today, dumpster diving or begging at the local restaurants? Her stomach growled at the thought. Holly shrugged, making sure to avoid the streets where local dog catchers roamed. It was easy, for she knew the streets by heart. Holly had been on her own since she was six months old. Hard to shake the memories, she passed by that horrid house every day. As she stepped near it today, a loud growl escaped her throat, savage and shrewd. "Not even worth it.." Holly sighed, bounding off down the street and into the backroads of the town.

Colby's long claws clacked loudly on the pavement of the unfamiliar streets. There was no way that he could be wandering the right way, for he'd never seen these streets before. A loud truck slammed on its brakes as he ran in front of it. Apologetically and with much fright in his eyes, he looked up into the driver's face. It was shrewd and cruel, and curse words flowed heavily out of his mouth. Colby picked up his pace, so as to avoid any possible encounter with other cars. He was quick to leave the dark concrete; the road. He now wandered in the dead grass that bordered the street. It seemed as if this town were in ruins; perhaps he'd go as far as to consider it a ghetto. Loud, rusty trucks thickened the streets, the grass was dead and overrun by weeds, predominantly dandelions. He spotted a sign with a hole corroded into it, and a house with a damaged picket fence. Colby felt as if the world around him were falling apart. Not only was this feeling mental, but in these gloomy streets it had become a physical impression. Hope sprung into his heart and it beat faster as his lifted his ears, catching the slightest pitch of the bark of a dog in the distance. So he wasn't alone. With determination that was quite needed with sights like this around him, he padded onward.

Holly walked on, trotting with her head held high through the dark alleyways of the city. It was hideous actually, the filth that was around. But she was used to it, Holly grew up here. She rounded a few corners, squeezing under another fence to now be in a dirt road. The smell of food filled her nostrils, urging her on. She was careful to make note of the cars that flew by at incredulous speeds. She had already heard one car earlier, in the direction she had come from, skid to a stop. Hopefully no one was hurt... The last thing Holly needed was being picked up and taken to the vet. Then, eventually, back to the pound. She scoffed, sitting down in the dirt as she waited for the best of the restaurants to be opening. Her stomach growled, and she giggled to herself. "Glad none of the other strays found me out here yet. They would be rather angry that I am smart enough to learn the streets..." she thought aloud to herself. Holly knew that some of the other strays were not already happy with her, snagging their meals. Their loss. As long as you didnt cross their path, you were fine. Though, not making friends these many years. It did take a mental toll on the labrador. Holly was usually very lonely, not having anyone to confide in. That made life harder out here than it had to be. Holly let the look of lostness fall away from her face, being replaced by her normal safety line; a strong determined look. Hiding herself was hard, but to survive out here...some things had to be done.
