Flameflash watched curiously as the she-cat became defensive. How odd, after all, fire hurts not the innocent, lest they come too close. She had not yet offended me, so why did the lady fear me? Then again, what a silly question. There are only few who did not fear fire. Such a shame. Trotting over to her with a bounce in his step he mewed nonchalantly, "There is no need to fear the flames of fire. For they do not hurt those who are innocent. Since it is valuable to majority of cats, I am Flameflash of Thistleclan." Satisfied with his comment he stopped a few feet away from the she-cat and sat down.

Sunlace tilted her head, questioning the clan cat's actions. Usually she would have been attacked by now, or at least threatened in some way or other. She sheathed her claws and seemed to relax just a little bit, though not entirely dropping her gaurd. Deciding to mimic the strange cat's way of speaking she sighed and spoke calmly. "I fear not the flames, for I am a daughter of the sun." It was felt awkward speaking in such a maner, but Sunlace rather enjoyed it. She kept her face calm and content, hiding all discomforts beneath her mask.

Flameflash smiled, "What a rarity you are. I have seen few that do not fear the fire, yet alone respect it. The sun is the great fire maker, lucky you must be to be so close to its glory." Tilting his head upward, the tom stared at the sun, contented. Still having his gaze settled upon the sky, he continued, "You have my respect daughter of the son. Perhaps my nose did not deceive, but rather led me to the very starting point of fire." Closing his pink eyes, he turned his attention back to the she-cat. "I apologize for disturbing you. I can offer to hunt with the speed of a burning flame in apologies."

Sunlace returned the smile, greatly amused by this Flameflash character. She considered his offer for a moment but shook her head. "I don't think it would be wise, helping a loner. You'd be in trouble if you were caught just talking to me, let alone hunting with me." She paused for a moment looking into the Tom's eyes. "Oh, and please, call me Sunlace."What's wrong with his eyes? She thought to herself. They were a strange pink color.

{He's adorable. Sorry for poofing, my mum called me over to help. I have to go again, I'll be back later.}

Flameflash looked to Sunlace in curiosity. What was she talking about? Trouble? After a flicker of moments, the tom replied almost crackling, "My clan? Yes, I am a part of it. Though, I do not understood the rules they follow. I live only under the flames, and am happy to do so. I am a fire that can not be quenched, they know of this, to them I am odd, and I am understand that this is a mutual feeling between the clan and me. They allow me to stay, as I provide prey and join their patrols, though they do not realize that the only true enemy is a fire and its flames." Licking his shoulder, the tom mewed, "I was simply suggesting it as an apology. If you do not wish for it, then I respect your opinion, one of sun."

Sunlace smiled a little sadly. "Please, don't be offended. But if you help a cat outside of your clan, there are serious concequiences. I don't want you to be in trouble because of me." She tilted her head to the side examining the tom a bit closer. "So, Flameflash..." There was a mischeveous twinkle in her eyes. "Wanna race?"

Grey tom with long soft fur that has small russet hairs here and there, large tom, pale green eyes.

Fogpool shook his head bashfully, "Oh, no, it's fine. Just looking for something to do. Is there anything I can help you with?" To be honest, for a time of his kithood he had considered being a medicine cat, but decided the warrior way would be easier for him. He enjoyed being a warrior, but that didn't mean he didn't like helping out with the medicine cat den. He liked it in there, a lot. The shy tom watched the apprentice with interest sparking in his pale green eyes.

Flameflash eyed Sunlace with eyebrows raised, "I see you have some knowledge of clans, most likely more than I for a flame cares not for such miniscule details." With a purr he responded, "Let it be, for I still owe you an apology, and will prove than fire is fastest among elements." With that the tom stood up, and waited for the she-cat to choose a destination.

And yes, Flameflash is one heck of a diplomatic insomniac and pyromaniac. |D
I also found an old she-cat from a dead roleplay I can use, if you think we need to even out the numbers soon. xD Plus, she is the flirtiest cat in the world.
