Echoheart calmed down. "You know what, you're right. Nothing is ever acheived through guilt and sadness." She sighed. "After the rainstorm, we should try and find her. I'll lead the patrol myself." Than Echoheart smiled. "Thanks for helping me." She purred, licking his shoulder in return.

He grunted in reply to Echohearts shoulder lick. He was slightly embarrassed that he said so much nice stuff to her, but at the same time, felt good that he could cheer her up. "Mind if I tag along for the patrol? I'm tired of lounging around." He asked.

Tigerstripe nodded, understanding her gratitude. "I have called you two in here because I will be going to the whispering pool, alone. Before you say anything Wintersong, there is a reason." Looking to his paws, he swiveled on them; turning around before he started to pace. "I want all the warriors here. Leafclaw, make sure there are at least two senior warriors, and two apprentices in the camp at all times. While I'm away." Clearing his throat, he headed towards the entrance of his den. Peering over his shoulder, he looked at his deputy. "I'm sure Wintersong will help you if you need anything. Now, do you have the traveling herbs prepared?" He gave both of them a smile, before looking out of his den; and catching his eye on Echoheart. Should he tell her? No. Not now. Perhaps after Jadekit was returned to them. Then a slight pang of jealousy stabbed his belly when he saw her lick the older toms shoulder. He forced himself to look away, and back at Leafclaw. "One more thing. I want no search parties for Jadekit, until I get back. If anyone does by the time I get back, they will be stuck doing apprentice duties for the next three moons. Warrior or not." His tone had turned a bit harsher than he expected it to, but he let it slide.

And the shoulder licking...My friend Katie bites mine sometimes. *Shrugs* Dunno why. We get into very rough playfights..and things happen. I've scratched her arm with a fork before, made her bleed. But of course, then she hits like five pressure points. x3 │

Yin smiled. He was rather pleased with himself. At least they liked his idea. He then proceeded to roll his eyes when the kit tried to leave a trail. He continued to walk still, picking up his pace. They needed to get to their camp before the rain stopped.
