Plot
Beauty and the England
In a time and place so far from our own, a young woman named Ukraine lives with her younger brother Russia and crazy younger sister Belarus. In a castle away in a hidden forest lives an unpleasant, hard to get along with young prince named England who has been transformed into his true self; a hideous Beast. Until he can find someone to love and to love him in return by his 23rd birthday, he will remain in that wretched form forever. When the 20 year old Russia goes out on a trip to find a sunflower for Ukraine, he stumbles upon the castle where there is a whole courtyard filled with sunflowers and picks one. The Beast of the castle, full of wrath, threatens to lock him in the dungeon forever until he hears Russia's reason. He tells him that he can go home but must either return with his beautiful sister Ukraine or himself to keep as prisoner. Russia returns home with two chests full of treasure from the castle and tells the story to his sisters at their insistence, both of which who say that she must go in his place. Russia reluctantly takes her to the front of the castle where they wait to be admitted by the servants of the mansion....
