Cat Tag

At the end of the year 2012, the big cat leaders came to an important decision. The slaughter of the big cats had gone too far to continue; so, using the powerful black magic by the lioness Hotaru, they gave all big cats the ability to appear human. However, if the cat is touched by a human, they form a bond with them, marking them with a cat paw. The more noticeable the cat paw is, the stronger the bond between the cat and the human. The cat has to serve the human until the human is on the verge of death--at that point, the cat turns the other human into a cat, therefore making them immortal unless they are killed by another cat.

This plot follows the story of a certain cat, Alfred, and the human he is bonded to, Arthur. The current cat King, Gilbert Beilschmidt, and his cat Ivan Braginski, are looking for a successor. Choosing Alfred and Arthur as possible successors proves to be difficult for the two, as they are caught up between the fights of Matthew and his cat Francis, Lovino and his cat, Antonio, and Feliciano and his cat, Ludwig as they fight to earn the title of Gilbert's successor.

Some extra info;
Arthur wears an eyepatch over his left eye to cover the cat paw print on it. The eye is red and has a permanently dialted pupil. His excuse was that his eye was gouged out in an accident and he wears it to cover the missing eye. He wears it until he gets turned into a cat, then he wars a collar around his neck to hide the paw print on his neck.
Alfred has hydrophobia (fear of water) and brontophobia (fear of thunder).
Matthew's crazy.
Antonio's weapons are bombs that he wears on a harness.
Alfred's weapon is a long 14 foot sword that is slightly curved that turns into a small dagger for safekeeping.
Francis and Lovino have chainsaws.
The cats can appear in the human world as butlers or pets, or sometimes both.
The Cat Kingdom is a kingdom that exists in an alternate demention. No humans can enter without the help of a cat except for Lovino, who is a messenger.

Light slowly seeped in through the window, carefully illuminating the lump of ruddy-golden fur lying underneath the sill. The cougar had his head in the crook of his furry elbows, tail twitching in his sleep. As soon as he felt his fur start to heat up, the cat opened one crystalline blue eye. He was lying where he always lied, under the sill next to his master's bed, should he have to wake up and protect him from danger. Master. His master, the one he was bonded to. He would have to wake up, now that it was sunny. Getting up, he yawned and stretched, before turning into his human form so he could open the blinds.
"Arthur, it's time to wake up."

Aurthur was curled in bed, sleeping softly under the covers. "Five more minutes...." He groaned tiredly. He had the blankets up to his nose, but once he heard Alfred speak, he pulled them over his head. Tossing over, Aurthur curled in a tighter ball. Within moments of being awake, he finaly sat up, anable to fall back asleep. "Never mind...." He said in the same tired voice before, He rubbed his eyes and slumped to the side of the bed.
