Loki awoke once more at the sound of a helicopter, the loud noise didn't help him at all.
Opening his eyes, he saw the work tilt at odd angles, paired with double vision. He closed his eyes tightly and gave a soft whimper, not wanting to be caught, and wanting the pain to stop.
Jumping was a stupid idea, he decided.

Cap looked down at Loki, pitiless. "You know, you kind of deserve this. Well, not kind of." He said with a shrug. Kara's voice came next. "Hold on, their copter can't corner and there's a forest ahead." she said. Racing full tilt into the trees, Kara dodged and whipped her way around. The sound of the helicopter disappeared, and she stopped, letting Cap and Loki slide off. Shifting into her regular form, she put a hand on a tree to steady herself for a second.
"Okay, now treating... Oh my god." She stared at Loki, all broken and bloody. "You are a complete maniac." she groaned, finding bandages in her bag. Fixing Loki's wounds, she checked Cap. "Nothing bad, although you look kind of cold." She said, noticing he was only wearing a t-shirt still. She sat in his lap, 'warming' him.

Loki shivered and whimpered slightly, cursing himself for being such an idiot.
"I-I know I deserved this." he said quietly, feeling sick and powerless, like a weak mortal.

Kara giggled at Loki. "It's nice to see you actually admitting something we can agree on for a change." She said with a soft smile. She looked tired, dark circles under her eyes. She had been working hard for the day she had been gone, and had happened to be near Chicago, when the light opened up and Cap almost fell to his death. Yawning she leaned back, forgetting she was against Rogers. Realizing, she backed up, blushing, and leaned against a tree instead.

"Do not laugh at me. You don't understand." he hissed quietly, trying to hide the tear that made its way down his cheek.

Kara watched Loki, and noticed the tear. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked, going over to him. She put a hand on one of his bandages, looking concerned.
Cap had fallen asleep by now. He was very tired.

"Do I look okay?" he asked bitterly, glaring at the ground and taking a deep breath.

"I mean emotionally, silly." Kara said softly. She sat down, facing Loki, watching him with a quiet concern, and working with her own things in the meanwhile. "You've never seemed to be so... Emotional. I thought you were too good for emotion, or pain for that matter. I was wrong. You're as human as I am, even if you're not human."

Loki was silent for a minute, before opening his mouth to say something, but deciding against it.
The world seemed cruel and unforgiving at the moment. He wanted to go back home, but then he realised the punishments that would be waiting there and let our a quiet sob, forgetting that Kara was there.

Kara felt pity for Loki. He was facing so much. She looked at Rogers, sleeping, then moved again, this time beside Loki. "Listen, it'll be okay. We can get out of this, somehow, we will. Cap and I, we won't let them do anything horrible to you. Promise." She whispered gently, leaning against the same tree as the god was. She felt bad, that she was doing well and he... Well, wasn't.
