Las Vegas, the city of gambling. It's all about fun and games here, but sometimes, it can be a dangerous game filled with cheaters and liars. You have to be strong, you have to fight. Now, I think I know what it is that you're probably thinking right about now. "Why do I need to know how to fight?" Well, if you want to survive in this casino…
A sign attached to a big, beautiful building reads, "The Casino of Namiatek," lit up in but, white letters. It was a strange name for a casino, but interesting enough to attract people to enter its walls. That isn't what has attracted you, though. No.. You're here for the money. As much as you could dream of. The beautiful carpeted floors and the games that surrounded you disappear in time, and you find yourself in a dark, unfurnished room with a few others who are just as confused as you are. You listen carefully as a screen that covers an entire wall lights up, and before you was just a shadow… It's hard to identify the person on the screen as female or male, but by the background, it is easy to tell that they were wealthy. The oak desk they sat behind and the large leather chair that they sat on were more than enough to show just how tasteful they were.
"Welcome, to the Caraban Kematian. Or known in Malaysia as the Challenge of Death." A deep voice echoed through the screen, a slight accent coming through while the person spoke. "You have been chosen to entertain us. Just as you came to this city for amusement, we brought you here for that reason. Don't even try to escape us, because your freedom can only be earned."
A woman in a crimson silk dress walked out from what seemed like the walls and walked to each person in the room, wrapping and fastening a watch around their wrists that tightened the second that they were snapped into place. They almost seemed to be attached to that person's wrist. It was a golden watch with silver along the mechanical strap.
"A token. This little bobble is yours now, and you will be able to do as you wish with it, but only if you win our games. If you fail, I think that you can guess what your fate will be." The smooth voice soothed softly, the person speaking still unidentifiable by their voice. "And I don't suggest trying to run away, because I am the only one that can loosen it from your wrist. Of course, unless you want it to explode."
Tension sank into the room. Within the wristwatch was a little bomb, powerful enough to blow the wearer to pieces. It was also equipped with a tracking device, just to make escape that much more difficult.
"Here, you will win, or we will do away with you as we wish, so play, and survive. That is all."
With that, you were led out of the room and to your first challenge.
