Alex smiled; shaking her head. "Yes Gabi. You're a beast. I'm glad you still hang out with him. My friend couldnt get a hold of her date after the dance. But then again the week before we pretended to be together because he was a freak." She nodded; her eyes glazing over as she recalled it. Her attention was soon stolen by an uneven spot in the sand.

"A hot beast," she nodded. "And it sucks to be her, I suppose. And great?"

"A hot beast; my apologies..." She gave a soft laugh and stood; evening out the sand with her feet. "Mhm..." Once contrnt she turned her attention back to Gabi. "So what grade are you in? 7th?"

"Your appologies indeed," she commented, nodding a few times before kicking a bunch of sand from under her feet, smirking when it hit some kid in the back of the head. "Oops," she grinned before looking to Alex. Her eyes narrowed in annoyance, her brows furrowing. "And yeah, I guess. Why must you bring up that I'm young? Its bad enough all of my friends are older," she commented, sounding a bit poutish.

She evened the sand once more. "Just wondering. Concider yourself lucky." Alex yawned; sitting in the sand.

"Why, because I have yet another year when you people are gone off wherever you people go?" she asked, her voice now calm again, despite the flash of bitterness.

She let out a breath, rubbing her eyes. "That's not what I mean't. It was just a question..."

"See. This was what the crazy doctor was talking about when saying I was going insane. I can't keep an emotion for more than two seconds. Sorry. Didn't mean to snap. I'll take my meds now," she commented before reaching into her bag and popping a pill. "There. Now I'll be better. Or I should be."

"Alright..." Alex replied softly; fixing her shoelaces and setting her chin on her knees. She let her gaze drift over the park slowly, burying her hands in the sand.

"Sorry, again," she murmured, loosing her grip and fading away slowly, her gaze adverting to the sky.
