The words were still audible, although they were muted slightly by the water training into her ears, eyes and nose. She laughed, which brought water into her throat, causing her to sputter. Her head hit the surface again, and water exited her mouth, a frown on her face. Her plan had been ruined because Alex had to have a conversation with herself. She'd do it later, then, she supposed.
"Alex, I worry about you. Normal people don't talk to themselves like that. And, I'm not thaaaat much of a bad seed. Just slightly. But not as bad as you." Gabi offered a sly smile with that, before tilting her head and tapping it, so that water would fall out her ear.

Alex laughed. "I apologize; conversing with my imagineary friend."

Gabi shook her head in mock displeasure. "Your imaginary friend? You are older than me. And you still have an imaginary friend? Let me guess, you also still watch Barney?"

"I'd tell you what barney is but its not the time or place. Tom and Jerry and much better." Alex smirked.

"Oh, I know what he is," Gabi smirked, rolling her eyes. "I used to have an obsession with him, or at least, that's what my mom said." She shrugged, before raising a brow at Tom and Jerry. "No, just no. I can't /stand/ them. No sound. I mean, come on!"

"Animals don't talk dear." Alex smiled and dipped her head back into the water in a vain attempt to keep her bangs out of her eyes.

"Shish does," she nodded intellegently. "I'd show you, but then I'd have to kill you."

"Only to you..." Alex laughed, putting her hands on the side of the pool and putting up to sit between them.

She shook her head, water flicking around, before splashing her indignantly. "She talks to everyone."

"Uhhhhuh..." Alex nodded slowly before rubbing the clorine out of her eyes.
