Lenore quickly read the question, frowning. She was unsure. She certainly wouldn't want to be left alone in that situation. She was tapping her pencil against her lips as she thought, her brow furrowed. She then decided to choose number 1. It seemed like the kindest thing to do in such a situation. She gave a sigh, her shoulders slumping as she looked back to the projector board.

Question 4

Congratulations! You made one of the Vault 101 baseball teams! Which position do you prefer?

1.) Pitcher.

2.) Catcher.

3.) Designated hitter.

4.) None, you wish the vault had a soccer team.

Kayleen chuckled as she read the answers. She chose to be the catcher, the second option. Her eyes then trailed up to the projection as she waited.

Lenore read the next question, and held back a soft chuckle. She didn't like any of the answers! She certainly wasn't one for sport. So, she simply decided to go with number 4. Because she certainly wouldn't want any of those baseball positions.

Question 5

Your grandmother invites you to tea, but you're surprised when she gives you a pistol and orders you to kill another Vault resident. What do you do?

1.) Obey your elder and kill the Vault resident with the pistol.

2.) Offer your most prized possession for the resident's life.

3.) Ask granny for a minigun instead. After all, you don't want to miss.

4.) Throw your tea in granny's face.

Kayleen knew the obvious choice. She couldn't disrespect her dear grandmother, but she couldn't just kill another resident. She had to compromise. Kayleen chose the second option and leaned back in her seat.

Lenore cocked a brow as she read the next question. This was ridiculous! She frowned, her blue eyes skimming over the answers. She certainly wouldn't choose 1 or 3... She sighed, looking between the two remaining options. She was a bit... materialistic, so Lenore simply went with the 4th answer.

Question 6

Old Mr. Abernathy has locked himself in his quarters again, and you've been ordered to get him out. How do you proceed?

1.) Use a bobby pin to pick the lock on the door.

2.) Trade a Vault hoodlum for his cherry bomb and blow open the lock.

3.) Go to the armory, retrieve a laser pistol, and blow the lock off.

4.) Just walk away and let the old coot rot.

Kayleen chose the first choice with ease. It was somehow a simple choice, considering how she had a general idea on how to pick a lock. The next question arose on the board quickly. Mr. Brotch seemed to want to get through this as fast as anyone else. He had been a teaching instructor since the G.O.A.T. had assigned him as such.

Question 7

Oh, no! You've been exposed to radiation, and a mutated hand has grown out of your stomach! What's the best course of treatment?

1.) A bullet to the brain.

2.) Large doses of anti-mutagen agent.

3.) Prayer. Maybe God will spare you in exchange for a life of pious devotion.

4.) Removal of the mutated tissue with a precision laser.

The question somewhat surprised Kayleen. If this sort of question was on the G.O.A.T. then maybe the Overseer thought, after all, that the Vault wasn't 100% safe. She chose the second option. It seemed to be the most logical to her. The first choice was completely ridiculous. She thought to herself, what would Lenore choose? Her eyes trailed somewhat behind her but she stopped herself. She would just have to ask when the test was over. She looked up to the board.

Lenore gave a sigh as she read Question 6. She opted to go for the choice that would cause the least commotion, which was the first choice. Lockpicking hardly made any noise, right? Freddie had taught her how to pick locks. When her eyes flicked to the Projector board, question 7 was already up. Well, goodness. This question was quite odd. Glancing at the answers, she decided to go with number 4. She wasn't the best with medications, but she had a steady hand.

Question 8

A fellow Vault 101 resident is in possession of a Grognak the Barbarian comic book, issue number 1. You want it. What's the best way to obtain it?

1.) Trade the comic book for one of your own valuable possessions.

2.) Steal the comic book at gunpoint.

3.) Sneak into the resident's quarters, and steal the comic book from his desk.

4.) Slip some knock out drops into the resident's Nuka-Cola, and take the comic book when he's unconscious.

Kayleen pondered this for a moment. If she were in this situation, she would probably, sneak into the room or, as the option states, render them unconscious with a chem. She may also trade for it. She couldn't imagine doing it at gunpoint. Kayleen decided to choose the fourth option just as the next question rolled onto the board.

Question 9

You decide it would be fun to play a prank on your father. You enter his private restroom when no one is looking, and....

1.) Loosen some bolts on some pipes. When the sink is turned on, the room will flood.

2.) Put a firecracker in the toilet. That's sure to cause some chaos.

3.) Break into the locked medicine cabinet and replace his high blood pressure medication with sugar pills.

4.) Manipulate the power wattage on his razor, so he'll get an electric shock next time he shaves.

As Kayleen read this question, she narrowed her eyebrows. She wouldn't dare do anything to harm her father in anyway. To pull a prank at all is childish. She chose the first option. If she HAD to choose one, she would choose the one least likely to harm him, physically. Kayleen sighed and slumped against her desk.

Lenore read the next question, immediately knowing which to choose. Number 3, of course. It'd be the easiest for her. She didn't feel like threatening someone at gunpoint for a comic book. That was just insane! She looked up as the next question flashed up on the board. Now, that was just ridiculous. Why would she prank her father, who was an officer!? That was just a silly question as well, in her opinion. But, she decided to go with option 1. That would result in the least severe consequence.

As the next picture rolled onto the board, Mr. Brotch gave a heavy, exaggerated sigh.

Mr. Brotch's voice was a bit annoyed and lazy as he read the next question.

Question 10

Who is indisputably the most important person in Vault 101: He who shelters us from the harshness of the atomic wasteland, and to whom we owe everything we have, including our lives?

Kayleen sighed heavily along with Mr. Brotch and chose a random answer. That question was ridiculous. Surely it had no affect on the outcome of the test.
