Jedi nodded, closed his eyes, and fell into a painful sleep.

Cossan listened to the Jedi's rythmic breathing for most of the night, deciding to let him sleep. By sunrise his eyelids were threatening to close. He turned slowly to face Jedi and shook him awake. "Oi, Furrball, wake up."

Jedi's eyes opened. "Oi yourself, and don't do that, it hurts."

Cossan yawned. "Sorry, can't exactly think straight right now."

Jedi nodded, then yawned. "Let's tryi to get back to my ship."

[haitus]

Cossan nodded and glanced down slipping off of the branch. He landed in a sort of crouch, one hand in front on the ground for balance. He flinched but clenched his teeth trying his best to ignore the pain. "Let's go."

Jedi jumped down and landed without a sound, but winced and clutched his side.

Cossan glanced up at Jedi and sighed, beginning to trudge forward. When they reached the river again he plopped down by the water's edge and unwound his blood-soaked bandage, trying not to look at the horrible gash in his side.

Jedi followed him, but went right down to the river to wash his wound.

Cossan placed the bandage on a small rock and waded into the river until his wound was submerged. It stung quite badly, but at least this way it would be clean.
