"That's interesting," Britta said, "Interesting that you think like that. You're right that good can't exist without evil, but that doesn't mean they have to always fight each other."

That was another reason she'd left the Order. She didn't feel that they had to constantly hunt Darksiders just because of what they were. She thought that as long as they weren't hurting people they could leave them alone. She also believed that Darksiders who were really evil could be redeemed. She didn't agree with the idea that once someone gave into the Dark Side they couldn't be saved.

Jo shrugged. "It's the simple truth." She grinned at Kat's comment. "And what Kat said is true. You'd probably be dead right now if you just did nothing. All it takes for evil to succed, is for a good man to do nothing. Far too simple."

Kat didn't like to admit it, but she agreed with Jo. It was far too simple. There was nothing for her to add at the time, so she remained silent.

"What you say is true, yes. But that doesn't mean I have to agree with it," Britta said. She smiled, "See now? Is not fighting and having a cordial discussion with each other so bad? There's a thin line between Light and Dark. Once you've treaded that line for a while, you discover that they're not so different."

Already she'd accomplished more than she's expected by intervening.

Jo shook her head. "You don't have to agree, it's still the truth and it's not going to change." She glanced around to Jedi and Kat,then back to the Grey Jedi, feeling slightly paranoid. This was strange, just talking. She hadn't done this with a Jedi since... well since she was at the Academy. "Well, different or not, that doesn't change the fact that we hate each other's guts."

Kat frowned. She did not hate the Sith. More than anything, she wished they could come together as one. It would be better that way. "We dislike you because of what you do. We would welcome you if you chose to be our allies. Well, I would." She could not speak for the other Jedi. Some of them were very closed-minded, afterall.

"I suppose some rivalries are so deep seated that nothing can change them," Britta said. She shrugged, "I don't know why I even try to mediate these conflicts."

Jo's eyes softened just a little bit. "If you hadn't been my friend at the Academy, you'd be dead right now. and don't you DARE get sentimental on me!" She glanced up back to Britta eyes hard and angry now. "Yes, why do you even try?"

Kat smiled as she looked back at her time in the Academy. They had been friends there. Those were good times.

Britta shrugged,
"I don't know. I honestly don't know," she said.

She could tell that the Sith was getting aggravated. She didn't know why she insisted on getting herself into these situations. she wasn't sure if she was lonely or just liked to get herself into trouble.
