Kanar stretched, a little startled by Jo's suggestion that she should shock him awake,
"No, no. I'm fine," he said, "And in any case, Force-sensitivity isn't just something that goes away."
He paused,
"What have I learned? Mind tricks are my specialty but I can sense people too and other basic stuff. Why do you ask?"

Jo simply shrugged. "Well, you did help me and Alanna back on Courascant. I was just thinking of a way to repay you." She sighed. "I can tell you favor your blaster over your saber, but if you'd like, I could always help you with some more... advanced techniques."

"You know, you scare me," Kanar said simply, "You probably know more about me than I do. And please don't take that as a challenge."

He paused a moment, thinking. He wondered if he should take Jo's offer. He was pretty good with his lightsaber, but everything he'd learned had been from holorecordings, himself, and the occasional actual person. Any information he could get from Jo would be useful but...there was something about this woman that serious freaked him out.
"What do you mean by 'advanced techniques'?" he asked.

Jo smirked. "The only reason I know you favor your blaster is because that was the first weapon you reached for, even though your saber was closer." She leaned back against the wall, carefully choosing her words and considering his question. "Techniques you'd never find in a holorecording, or learn from a Jedi." A short pause. "Things I've learned in the feild."

OOC: Aww poor Kanar. X3 Jo's scaring him.

Kanar raised an eyebrow,
"Uh huh..." he paused a moment, "I might be interested."

Part of him was wondering if this was such a good idea, but the other part was telling him to go for it. Any new information was good. Anything that might help him handle his lightsaber better since he'd never received proper training.

Jo raised an eyebrow. "Nervous? Don't be. I only kill those who betray me." She sprang up, suddenly feeling rather energetic. "I'll be wandering the halls. Find me if when you accept my offer." With that, she walked down the hall, slowly merging into her shadow form again. If Kanar did accept her offer, he'd have to use the force to find her.

Kanar watched as Jo turned into smoke,
"Oh, great," he muttered. He sighed and walked back into his room. He put his jacket back on and decided to get some food before he went on a wild goose chase after Jo. He walked through the halls and down to the cantina on the ground floor. There were a lot of sleeping drunk guys at the bar but the tables were mostly empty.

Jo swished and swirled around the halls just getting to know the place. "Who knew the pirates had such a huge base!" She continued to wander occasionally scaring the drowsey pirates.

When Kanar was done eating he decided to see if he could find Jo. There was no way he was going to find her with his eyes.
Clever girl, he thought. That was the point. He took a deep breath and paused. He reached out with his senses. There were a lot of Force signatures in this building, but he knew that if he concentrated he could find Jo among the mess. He started on the ground floor and didn't find her.

He moved up through the floors, the basement and the higher ones, until he found a Force signature on one of the upper levels that reeked of the dark side.
"Yep, that's her," he said to himself. He opened his eyes and headed up to the floor above him.

Jo closed her eyes sensing her ways along the halls. A familiar life force began moving one floor underneath her. She thought to herself. Oh Kanar, it will never be that easy with me. She took a deep breath cloaking her force signature and placing it in multiple places around the base. That should slow him down... With that, she made her way to the first floor and headed twoards Kanar, force signature mimicing his. Good luck. You'll need it. She situated herself in the midst of his shadow waiting for his next move.
