The Hyena snarled. It was no use. The bars to her cage were solid metal. She had only managed to scratch them. Resting her head against the bars, Adren let out a long, deflated sigh and pinned her ears. Her long, dark brown mane drooped and she wrapped her tail around her paws. There was no way out. She cursed her stupidity. How could she have gotten caught? Digging her claws into the dirty towel covering the floor of her cage, Adrenaline sighed again. She had to get out of here. There had to be a way. And fi she couldn't find a way out, the upcoming full moon would make it completely possible.

Dakota lounged in the lunchroom. He'd become a favorite among the Scientists. He entertained them, like a pet dog, and they fed him and pampered him. This was the life he loved. He lifted his head and opened his eyes real wide at one of the scientists. He was rewarded with a large meatball, covered in marinara sauce. The African wild dog lapped up the treeat, making a little hump of thanks to the man.

Aura sighed as she looked out of the small window of her new 'room'. it was a small habitat that looked sort of like her old home, but felt nothing like it. day after day, she became ever so homesick, missing the demon out of her parents and other relatives. With this 'new' mind, she had a more understanding of the human world. The food, the sky, the ground, family, and other things was always on her mind. Most of all, the snowy plains that remained a constant night was always what she thought of as home. In her mind, a beautiful night sky with swirling bright, blazing colors were always her favorite thing. Although, she wasnt able to see colors until she came here. She can also understand and speak the human language, use her paws as hands, and even use what the humans call 'manners' when she ate. Aura let her mind drift to her little 'happy place' as she wondered around.
