Your a young adult ages 18-21. Your going on a Summer trip for a couple of best / friends. You've either known them throughout the whole school year in college or your just now here on this trip getting to know them or know them better. Here on this trip you will be away for somewhere along 1-3 years. Yes, it seems long now but time will fly. You will be away from family. Have time to yourself and your friends. Stopping by at each rain forest and country and state in the world. It's probably not as complicated as you may think it is. You each have individual money to spend on food, emergency equipment, souvenirs and tickets for bus's, planes, trains and anything else people use to get around. Have much fun here in the states, country's and many others!

Marlene Lila Benson
--Marlene, only family was apart of the name. Any friends were out. The decision was all secret. The name is common and comes up to almost 28 similar names. The pronunciation is simple, mar-LEEN the name was famous back then according to the family. Many grandmothers and mothers before Marlene were named the same and were always in the family's heart. It was a blend of Maria in Latin meaning "star of the sea" and that was all Marlene was to the family. The middle name Acttius had almost nothing to do with family but they always said if they ever had a boy they would name him Acttius but mother had decided one was enough so just put her middle name Acttius so she would be remembered as the family's daughter son. And lastly Benson was her wonderful last name. Many members or considered uncles were named Benson Benson.

Some people look and say "Marley? Who calls a girl Marley?" The answer is fairly very simple. When she was a small child she was destructive and a monkey and the only name she would respond to was Marley. Her family was the one who came up with the name Firefly and it has a brief description. They would say "we call our beauty firefly because she always seems like she has a light on." What this means is whether day or night Marlene is always helping out and accepting late phone calls and doesn't go so extreme on you. And we all laugh, Benny? Many people used to call her that during the school years. There really wasn't a description for it, it was just her best friend called her it and some people caught her doing it and the name spread from person to person ever since.

Marlene was born on September 13th 1992 and was in the wonderful world. Growing up and moving out was not part of her plans. She never planned to leave her mother behind. Now she's on her own and a young adult and she's sick to stomach about being on her own for the rest of life. If it was up to her she would stay forever young.

When you first look at Marley you're probably thinking she looks pretty ordinary to say myself. Haha! This woman is skilled and one of the best friends even if she hates you. She is very flexible and was in gymnastics for many years expecting arthritis when she gets older she moves and bends her hands on guitars, pianos and many other instruments. She is small but average in size. Marlene weighs somewhere around 99 - 115 pounds. Big difference but it's true. She is five foot four [5"4] and has to stand on the tip of her toes to kiss a boy in less he is smaller obviously. Now, her hair is hard to describe. Some see it as a blonde and others find it as a red but really it's both. Some are amazed some are just bored out of their brain but Marlene never agrees. She insists it's a mixture like others say but with a touch. Honey blond and medium darkened red with just a touch chocolaty brown. Yes, it's very weird how she describes it and no one can find any dark brown marks in her hair but she still agrees about her hair and never agrees with anybody else. Marlene's skin is described pasty or a touch of a tan. She's always hanging out in the sun but even with sunblock on she always seems to get some kind of a sunburn so she usually just hangs out by a lake or by a tree so she can still swim and be outside just no so much in the sun. Marley's eyes if you look faraway are a light green but if you're right there beside her and look closely you can see her eyes look like a dark mossy grass green colored and reflective and very faint small specks or dots around the dark black middle spot called her pupil. Marlene's clothing style is very old fashioned. Old fashioned shirts, dresses, shoes, pants anything old fashioned she's all in for because she's just so very old fashioned but some say it's unique and ordinary and she just gets them from thrift stores and Walmart and Target. She doesn't have any permanent scratches, all she got was some bruises and scrapes when she was younger but nothing that she didn't bring upon herself. Though she does have two small tattoos. An anchor and a infinity sign. Her anchor on her wrist and her infinity sign on her middle finger along with both of her ears normally pierced.

Yep, I had 140 people in my family. Probably more but I just haven't discovered them yet. They all are very nice people but I don't really get to go up to visit them. Some are in Washington and Texas. I was raised in two different areas and more families were created as a changed.

Marlene is skilled in very many things but her mains are Instruments, being athletic and gymnastics. She's hard at saying no at some of these even if she's had enough of them. It's just like she has a severe attraction to them.

Marley bites her finger nails when she's nervous and she's sometimes always nervous even when nothing's there. Speaking her thoughts is her worst though. She could be dreaming about a really cute boy who is standing right there beside her and it will just slip out of her mouth.

My name? Shay Krissy Parks. The little child in Ward 126, surrounded by nurses and her parents was named Shay for the simple reason that her parents liked the name. They had decided on it when they first found out Mrs Parks was pregnant with a girl. Krissy was taken from her Father's deceased Mother, the old women having died only a month before Shay was born. Unusually Parks was her Mother's surname, due to the fact that that women was feminist and had made her husband take her name at marriage. Not that you could argue with the fiery Miss Parks.

I'm eighteen! That's right, I can actually do stuff now. Legally. It was a rather sunny August evening when Shay was born, her Mother having been in labour for two days. Not that little baby Shay cared. No, she carried on her wailing for so long, the nurses had to separate her from her Mother, to give the deprived women a chance to sleep. The ninth of August was certainly a loud day for Shay and has been ever since. Her parties were never very docile, and at eighteen they seem to have gotten worse.

I'm most certainly a guy. Really? Do I look like a guy to you? You can check if you want! I'm 100% positive I'm a girl. Or lady, whichever you prefer. Shay is a girl, has always been a girl and will certainly be a girl for the rest of her life. Only an idiot would say she was a boy. Maybe she isn't the most ladylike of them all but she can be if she wants and her femininity is one belonging to a girl. Not a gay boy.

Sexy and I know it! Shay is a girl with many flaws; but when it comes to her looks flaw is rarely a word used. She has long brown hair that is often in a knot on top of her head, but mainy falling freely and only hindered by her tucking it behind her ears. A pretty face with pink lips and bright blue eyes she tends to keep sealed; showing no emotion. Below her neck she is slender but has few curves. Her legs are long and 'attractive' and her hands small and dainty although often covered in ink. Shay stands at around 5"8 and weighs only 112lbs.

The Drunken One. I'm addicted to the bottle. Although Shay herself thinks that 'The Drunken One' is as far as her stereotype goes, she is wrong. Out of all her closest friends she is the drinker, bookworm and dreamer. Maybe she does spend half her time drunk, but a lot of the time she is reading. Not in public of course, that'd be silly, but at home or in nature's deepest hidden spots. Being a bookworm also comes hand in hand with dreamer. You have to be able to imagine the book alive and Shay does that, dreaming when not reading too, of a better life and a better her.




Well, I like boys and I like girls. Simple enough. Having had a fair share of kisses with boys and girls and relationships with both, Shay came to the conlusion that she could never pick just one gender to have a romantic relationship with. She likes both and there isn't anything wrong with that in the opinion of herself and friends. Although recently she has been leaning towards the females of the world, either would suit her. The correct 'termonoligy' would be bisexual.

Well... I think, actually, that I am crushless at the moment... wip Crushing may come in the future, on strangers and those weirdos she loves, but currently Shay can deal with just looking at Sierra -lead singer of VersaEmerge- in a hopeful way.

Currently I am single; hello flings! Relationships have recently been evading the grasp of this Parks girl. For about a year it has only been flings and even they have been sparse. Some may say this is good for Shay's ego (it can get quite big) but if you really know her, you would say it was bad. She needs the excitement and adrenaline of dropping someone quickly and not even remembering them in a few hours. She enjoys a chase and being caught and the lack of suitors at the moment means something is wrong.
