The American chuckled as England buried his face into him. "What's wrong? I mean, besides your hangover..." he asked smiling. "Is something bothering you? DO you want me to make breakfast?" he asked, holding him close.

England shook his head slightly. Stay here. Please. A second later, he nodded, not giving an specific indication as to which statement the motions belonged to. "Yeah, something's wrong," he murmured without thinking about it. Mentally cursing at himself, he sighed softly.

"Ok.." he said, turning them around so that he faced England. "I don't have to make breakfast now . . . Can you tell me what's bothering you?" he asked, holding his hands, looking him in his deep green eyes.

England looked down at the bed, tearing his eyes from America's blue ones. "It's...it's just that... Everything I said about not wanting you to leave? That...wasn't just the drink talking. I-I just..." Cursing himself under his breath, England flung his arms around America, hiding his face in the other's chest again. "I'm afraid of you leaving."

America was shocked by the hug at first, but finally put his arms around England. He smiled as he patted his head. "Why are you so afraid? You know I'd never do that. . . Was it something I did?" he asked, tilting his head at him. "Because I never want you to feel that way, y'know.."

"No, you didn't do anything," England said softly, clutching the other's shirt in soft fists. "I just..." He paused, taking in a slightly shaky breath. "I'm afraid that one day you'll just leave." He didn't honestly know why that was so, but whenever his irrational fear entered his head, the only thing he could think of the American Revolution.

The American Revolution popped in his head suddenly. "I-It's not because of when I wanted independence from you, is it? That was a long time ago and I don't exactly want to repeat it either.." he said softly, trying to comfort him.

England didn't say anything, just focusing on his breathing. How was he supposed to say that he had just hit the nail on the head? None of that was America's fault. You can't really blame someone for wanting to do what they want to do, can you? But still, the thought hurt the blond more than anything. Out of everyone, America was the only one England had ever truly loved. "I-I know," he said softly.

America smiled as he pulled back from England, instantly and obliviously ruining the moment as he flicked his head. "Are you ok now?" he asked loudly, but grinned, kissing him on the forehead. "I can make breakfast. Want to come own with me?"

England resisted the urge to sigh in irritation and glare up at the American. He winced when his tone got loud again. Letting go of him, he nodded and stood up. "I'm fine," he half-mumbled, staring for the exit to the room.
