"Nice to meet you, Cinder." Alexis smiled, "Are you excited to go to Hogwarts? I am! I'm the first in my family to go. My Mum and Dad went to a different wizarding school, so I don't know that much about Hogwarts. They can't wait to hear all about it either." she babbled as the train tooted it's horn, warning any stragglers to get on.

Alexis waved to her parents as the train started to move. They were waving back to her.
"I think my Dad went to Durmstrang. My mum went to a small wizard school back home. I would've gone to that one, but then we moved to England about two months ago." Alexis shrugged, "I got the letter and voila."
A huge smile broke out on her face as she thought more about it, "I can't wait until we get there!"

Alexis paused, "Hufflepuff... which one was that one? Is that the genius house? No wait. Ravenclaw was the genius house..." Alexis paused trying to remember when a meow cut her out of her thoughts.
"Oh!" She looked at the cat carrier and then to Cinder's owl.
"Your owl won't mind my cat being out, will it?" she asked, to make sure.

Alexis smiled and let her cat out. It was a small ginger tabby kitten with a white ear.
"His name's Tig." Alexis told Cinder as the kitten crawled onto her lap and started to purr.
She glanced out the window at the tree's out there and the feeling of excitement bubbled up in her again. She was going to learn how to use magic!
She took her wand out of her pocket and examined it again. She could just imagine waving it and making purple ribbons fall from the sky. Or giving someone green hair...
A small smile crept onto her face again as she thought about it.

Alexis smiled as her cat purred, she stroked him slightly. She wondered if she would get into any mischief there... She also wondered what house would she be in. The same house as Cinder? How do they get sorted, anyway?
"What do you think we'll learn first?" Alexis asked Cinder, "I want to learn how to turn things into other stuff. Transfiguration, I think it's called."
