Brought up in Australia since she was 10, when they moved to Devon. She got the letter in her 11th Birthday and her parents were more than happy to send her to the best wizarding school in England while they were getting things sorted in their new house.

Alexis Turner
Alexis walked through the train, looking at the compartments as she went. They were mostly all full. She didn't really want to be in a rowdy compartment for her first trip to Hogwarts. She finally found one that only had a few people in there that were minding their own business.
She slid the door open and then closed it after she entered. No one looked up at her as she made her way to the window to look for her parents. She sat the cat carrier that she was carrying down on the seat as she searched out the window.

"No... I mean... No, I don't mind." Alexis smiled, slightly at the girl.
Her eys went back to the window when she finally saw her parents out the window. She smiled at them and waved.
"I'm Alexis. Alexis Turner." She said to the other girl, looking back at her.
