Chris parked the car in the parking lot of the 7/11, Jax leaning against the wall which was shaded, his figure practically hidden if you weren't looking for him, and his gaze pointed to the ground. Chris jumped from the car after he'd switched it off, and stuck the keys in his pockets before going to get Genie. Chris pulled open the door, grabbing her upper arm, and, rather roughly, tugged Genie from the car. Slamming the car door, he moved her over to the sidewalk, stopping about 5 feet away from Jax's figure who'd sat up, and watched the two when he'd heard the car door close. Jax stuffed his hands into his pockets, watching as Chris pulled his gun from his hiding spot once again. Chris glanced around briefly, breaking his gaze off Genie, but not moving the gun from being pointed at her. He noticed that if you knew what you were looking for you'd be able to spot three dark, large figures of wolves and a panther. Chris broke his gaze with one of the wolves beady yellow eyes, and moved it back to Jax and Genie.

Jax didn't bother with greeting. He flicked his hand slightly, giving a signal to get rid of the gun. Chris rolled his eyes, but didn't oblodge, putting his hand down at his side though not hiding it from sight. "Where's your precious boyfriend?" Jax spoke for the first time, his tone cold, flat, and given in a very unfriendly tone.
