Cir started walking in the opposite direction of the shop before slipping into an alley way. She seemed to be crossing the city before she was near it's center. The hair was hazy and every building around them, which looked like mostly factories, produced billows of smoke.

"Ew," Levy said, as he looked through the rows of factories polluting the air. "How do people live right in the middle of all of this?"

Cir pulled her red scarf over her nose and mouth. "They just do, I guess," she said. "It's not really residential- people work here. Produce power and products. Only few can survive in this."

Levy frowned as he realized he had nothing to prevent him from inhaling all of the smoke and smog. "Maybe it would have been better to have been crushed by some angry fat dog instead."

"You wanted to go this way," Cir replied, shrugging. "We're almost through." She dodged a motor carriage and slipped into another alleyway.
