Christina nodded and followed him, morphing into her wolf form as she went. Tan skin became full of silvery fur and she was walking in a wolf's body once again. Her tail was low, giving away just how nervous she was. She padded after Eric, the shine of her fur in the sun making her muscles look much more pronounced. Her silvery fur became a perfect reflector of the sun, her soft coat glimmering. Her white ears remained perked and alert, her eyes concentrated on the river in front of them. She obviously wasn't looking forward to getting in the water again.
Christina follow Eric down the river until they reached what Christina hoped was a shallow spot. "Are you ready?" she asked Eric, glancing at the water, then at him, then back at the water again. She should probably be asking herself that question. Although she loved swimming, Christina couldn't stand being in cold water. It usually made her somewhat numb, which led to her not being able to move freely. As she watched the water, she absently morphed into a taller, redder form. A maned wolf. This was the tallest of the wild canids, standing a shocking forty inches at the shoulder, and she still only weighed in at about sixty pounds or so. Her legs were long and slender, but would give her a good amount of speed. On top of this, maned wolves were able to fish. She wondered if she might catch anything in this water, and hopefully fill her empty stomach.
Christina glanced at Eric once more, endless dark eyes holding the emptiness that was inside her. She looked back at the water and narrowed her eyes as she tried to concentrate. She watched for the silvery flash of a fish in the water, but it never came, and she snorted with disappointment. This however wasn't necessarily a bad thing. The average maned wolf's diet consisted of over 50% of vegetable matter. This would prove helpful in this case, because meat obviously wasn't on the menu today.

Logan bobbed his head when she nodded towards the direction of the town. "Yes, but we're probably going to want to go around. My house is on the other side of town, and I'm not so sure you'll go unrecognized if your parents are still looking for you." he pointed out. "There is a way through town that is more quiet though. It won't take as long is at would to try going around, and the place is always quiet." he added. Logan gazed at her with one beady black eye.
He then pondered over the option of her morphing into a domestic cat. He wasn't quite sure if that was possible for her. Could she morph into any feline, or only wild felines? He wasn't sure, but decided he would ask her later. Logan could morph into any bird in the world if he wanted to, but he couldn't be so sure if this was the same for. Logan decided he would ask her later, once they got a little closer to the town.
Logan stretched his large wings and prepared himself to take to the sky. He lowered his chest to the ground and bunched his muscles. Then, carefully flapping his wings to get the air circulating around him, Logan took flight. He had to get a fast start because their wasn't much open area on the forest floor. He rose into the air with several more flaps of his wings, before he finally got a good rythm and could circle the air above Kyra. Her watched the cat from above, realizing she looked akward. It was probably the aftermath of her injury. The movement of a small animal cought his eye and he quickly focused his attention on it. He waited quietly, circling around the area for several long moments, hoping to see it again. He was about to give up when it moved again. Just there, shifting between the undergrowth as quickly as it could, was a brown hare. He waited for the right moment. The hare seemed to have a routine. It would stay in each hiding place for nearly ten seconds and then it would hop as quickly as it could to the next. After nearly a full minute above the ground, Logan finally swooped down, catching the rabbit in his talons just as it was trying to enter the next bunch of roots, leaves, and brambles. He clutched the hare in his sharp talons, holding it by its neck. He struggled with the plump animal for several long heartbeats before finally, it gave up. He pulled back up and escaped towards Kyra, who must have been confused by his sudden disappearance. He returned to her, holding the limp rabbit tightly.
