Jace shook his head. "Everything's fine." He told her. He patted her shoulder.

Zachari stood there, looking around.

Emily nodded, then turned to Zachari. She didn't get to talk much with him, and she was beginning to wonder if he didn't like her much. "Will you tell me what the town's like?" she asked.

Zachari looked up at the girl. He smiled hugely. "It's great." He said. He huffed when he realized that was a stupid answer.

She nodded and grinned. The answer was good enough for her. "I want to go there sometime...maybe I can sneak out...." She smiled at the thought.

Zachari's face lit up. "You can come with us!" He offered.

Emily's face lit up along with his. "Really?"

Zachari nodded, and looked at Jace. Jace nodded, and Zach smiled. "Yeah."

"Thanks so much!" Emily thanked him, happy and excited. With that, she gave Zachari a quick hug before hurrying down to her room for another sewing lesson. She hated them, but she might as well be good at something.

Zachari smiled, and watched her walk down the hall. Jace & Him went into Jace's room.

Thankfully, the lesson was cut short due to Emily's teacher being needed down at the tailoring shop in town. Emily wanted to go too, but her teacher wouldn't let her. Instead, she brushed her hair from her eyes and walked down the hall to Jace's room. She knocked on the door lightly.
